Summary: Great Value for a Low Price ...
Review: Hi, I'm a very new owner of a Canon Powershot A20 (bought elsewhere for... less than Amazon) and so I bought the 128MB Viking Compact Flash Card and let me tell you - it is GREAT! :) I definitely recommend buying it asap ... Viking has proven to be a very reliable manufacturer of CF Memory for me.

Summary: Good value for money. Not 128MB
Review: This seems like an excellent value for the money, but it is not quite as good as it seems. After receiving it, I learned that it only has 120MB of space on it. Perhaps they are cheap because they had some defects that make 8MB or so unusable.

It works fine. I would just divide the price by 120MB instead of 128 to find the true value.

I would also highly recommend using the Viking PCMCIA card reader for CompactFlash. It simply shows up as another drive in Windows with NO DRIVER SOFTWARE to load. You might get a deal by buying the memory and card reader together.

Summary: get the Viking CF256M instead
Review: 128M is great. but since 256M is available now at a great price, get 256M instead. 08/02/2001

Summary: Can't have too much memory.
Review: I bought this last month for use with the Kodak 4800 and got excellent results. It did not perform any better than any other memory card I've used, but it certainly performed as well. But the price ... made it superior to any other CF memory I could find then.

Summary: Solid and cheap
Review: Bottom line: this is a great card (even with the aforementioned MB-that-isn't-MB) and a great deal. Using it with my camera right now and simply couldn't imagine not having it. Hundreds of pictures at a reasonable price (that keeps dropping) -- what else is there? Buy it now!

Summary: Excellant CompactFlash card
Review: I have a Nikon CoolPix 990 and did have 2 SanDisk 96MB CompactFlash cards (plus the 16MB Lexar card which came with the camera). I saw the Viking 128MB card... and decided I couldn't pass it up. It was a good choice. The card works well in my Nikon & the card works properly in my flash card reader. The cycle time on the card is no different than any of my other cards. At the settings I use, this card gives me an extra 40 images over my 96MB cards. More is certainly better!

Summary: Viking CF128M CompactFlash Card
Review: With a... already great price this was an outstanding buy. Not only can I now take 500+ small photographs but even 120+ high res photos. Don't know what I did without it.

Summary: Happy in NC
Review: I searched rather extensively for a CF for my canon S300 digital camera. This card was BY FAR the best deal around. It has been completely reliable thus far, and it records quickly. Buy it,..., and you will be happy happy.
