Summary: Viking CF128M Incompatible with Nikon 775
Review: I purchased this item to use with my Nikon 775. I checked with the Viking Configurator which indicated there was no problem. When I attempted to use the card, however, my camera warned the card could not be used. The card works fine in my older HP C30. I gave the item 2 stars instead of 1 because the card worked in my older camera. I sent an e-mail to Viking but got no response. By the way, Amazon's policy on returns is a restocking fee if the package is opened. How are you going to find out something does not work unless you open the package and try it? Buyer beware!!!!

Summary: Great addition for your digital camera
Review: If you can get only one add-on for your digital camera, let it be this one.I took my Kodak digital camera decked out with this 128MB CompactFlash card on a 6-week road trip. I used the "middle" quality setting for the pictures, and managed to take over 130 photos (the equivalent of 5-6 24-shot rolls of film), filling not anywhere close to half the card (at that setting, the card will store over 300 photos)! I'm not a digital photography technoid by any stretch of the imagination -- I just like capturing memories of the places I go and the things I see. Having the extra memory afforded by this little card meant that I could relax and not worry about running out of space for all my photos. Transferring the photos to my laptop was a piece of cake, and took very little time -- partially a function of the card. I highly recommend this as the *first* accessory/upgrade you purchase for your camera!

Review: You can't beat this card for the price. I've been using it with my Nikon 775 Coolpix for a couple of months, and have had no problems. Don't spend more money on another brand of card -- this is a quality product at the right price.

Summary: Great Memory Card/Bad Rebate
Review: Do not order a Viking Product, if you are using the rebate as your reason for purchasing. It is an excellent card, but Viking should really make sure that rebates are processed quickly and fairly. My Epson 3100Z camera can now take 236 photogaphs at the Super Fine Setting, or 101 at the Hypict JPEG, or a mere 447 at Fine JPEG with the Viking 128 Card. This should satisfy almost anyone taking a set of holiday pictures. Since I am the owner of two Viking Cards, I almost have overkill in my camera bag. The quality and speed of the card is amazing at the Super Fine setting. Everyone loves being able to review their poses, and delete the ones they do not like.

Summary: Works great with Nikon Coolpix
Review: The Viking 128MB is cheap and works like it should -- I've had no problems at all. I can take up to 300 pictures on one card with my Nikon Coolpix 995 but usually use higher resolution and get 150 pictures. I have two cards and they last for even long vacations (plus, you can use the National Geographic approach when using this card -- take 300 pictures to get 30 good ones!). Also, the rebate (when it was offered) worked just fine for me.

Review: 128 IS ACCEPTIONALLY CHEAP THESE DAYS. GETTING THE VIKING BRAND IS A BETTER CHOICE BECAUSE OF IT'S FAST RECONGITION. WHAT I MEAN IS THAT YOUR DIGITAL DEVICE WILL PICK UP (LOAD 2 SECONDS) QUICKER OR EVEN FASTER. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH IT. IF YOU GET THE 64MB, AND IN THE FEATURE , IF YOU EVER DECIDED TO UPGRADE, GETTING ANOTHER 64MB WILL LEAVE YOU WITH 2 CARDS AND ENDING SPENDING AN EXTRA $20.00. CONSIDER THE FUTURE AND GET 128 FOR $20 CHEAPER THAN HAVEN'T TO HOLD 2.
