Summary: Works Just Great
Review: I bought this several months ago when it was well over $100 (which was a good deal then). I use it in my Compaq iPAQ 3870 every day and have never had any problems with it. I have stored GPS maps, Microsoft Pocket Streets maps, MP3 files, etc., and they have all worked perfectly.At this price, it's only a better deal.

Summary: Really good quality for a good price
Review: This is a very good CF card, which also is fast. There exists some cheaper cards on the market but I know some of them are slower (this is also true for some more expensive known brand cards). Using the card in a high-resolution digital camera you don't want a too slow card that will make you wait for the image to be stored before you can take next image. I use this card in my Canon Powershot S40 digital camera and it can store a bit more than 200 pictures using the highest resolution with jpeg file-format.

Summary: Best Performance and Minimal Price
Review: This is an outstanding card. It is one of the best performing cards on the market and also one of the most reasonably priced. I wouldn't spend the money on Lexar or some of the other over marketed cards. This card works flawlessly in my Canon S40 and is *very* fast. I also bought the Viking PCMCIA reader for my notebook and it's awesome as well. It plugs in and works. What more can you ask for? I did a lot of research before buying this card and if you have time, go to dpreview and check out the reviews->digital media. They have a very straightforward and comprehesive analysis of compact flash media while cutting through the marketing hype. You'll learn a lot there and save yourself some money.

Summary: Good all around card
Review: I purchased the card for my Minolta Dimage S404, and it is great. Even at medium resolution I can get over 500 pictures. You can't go wrong with this one - and why spend a few dollars more for a more "popular" brand ... and don't spend a couple bucks less for a poorer quality. One caveat: read your camera's instructions ... I mistakenly formatted my compact flash card in my computer, and now it won't work in the camera. Big NO-NO! Format in the camera only. BUT, GOOD NEWS! I have windows XP, and I found out from the manufacturer that all you have to do is hook up your card reader to a Win95 or Win98 machine and format it and guess what ...? IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still rate it 5 stars - it's one terrific piece of equipment. Now if I could just get my batteries to last longer in the camera ....

Review: I bought this card for my Canon S110 Digital Elph and it rocks. Completely compatiable, fast use and just tons of space for pictures and video. A friend also used my card in his Canon S300 and had a similiar experience.

Review: This card worked fine for a while, a couple of months, in my Minolta Dimage 7. Then, for no apparent reason, it would hold only a few more images than a SanDisk 64 MB card I have.

Review: I am a wedding and portrait photographer. I have 4 Viking 256MB cards that I use to shoot weddings with. I have not been disappointed. Excellent quality and reliability. I would happily buy Viking Cards again. My next purchase may be a 512 MB card. But then again, do I want to put too many eggs in one basket?

Review: This card does not work in my HP 568. It works fine in my
Minolta camera. HP says it has not tested this product.
I give it three stars because I am not sure if its the card or

I put the memory in my digital camera and formatted it. It then could see the card after a few resets. I hope this does not keep

Summary: As Good As Any
Review: I used the Viking 256mb card with my Olympus E-10. I also have the Olympus SmartMedia cards along with a Sandisk SmartMedia card and I absolutely see no difference whatsoever in the write time. I have had absolutely no problems with the card. It uploads just fine, even directly through the USB from my camera. There is no question you can't beat the price of Viking and I think without question their quality is as good as anyone else. Save your money. Buy Viking.
