Summary: USB "enabled" cards
Review: Althought this compact flash card has a rating of 4x, it seems to work just as good as my 8x card, photographing normal subjects. I have not found a standard rating scale for the speeds between the different brand compact flash cards. I have the "Lexar jump cable" for the Lexar card, it is the actual card (Lexar brand USB enabled)that has the USB information, so other compact cards that are not specified to be USB enabled will not work in the Lexar Jump cable.

Review: I own two of these cards now, and I'm very pleased. After a shoot, remove the card from the camera and plug it into the special reader. Your computer treats the card and reader as a remote drive from Windows Explorer (or, better yet, from PowerDesk, where you can preview your photos in a viewer pane.) You can transfer all your pictures over to the hard disk at USB speed, open them right off the card to preview them, even delete those you don't want before transferring. There's no need to fire up the camera to do all this. When you've transferred what you want, delete the files from the card and you're back in business. I use this on my home computer, but have also used it on a notebook computer in the field.

Summary: Works well.
Review: I prefer the SanDisk memory as I've never ever had a SanDisk card go bad, but this one was a good deal. I'll have to report later on how well it stands up to heavy use (plugging in and out of a digital camera etc).
