Summary: They may make decent disks and CDs, but not flash!!
Review: I decided to give Memorex a shot on their flash. My thought was, "Well they make good disks and CD-Rs, so their flash must be decent, too!!"

I couldn't have been more wrong. My first flash card wrote three images and got an error stating something about an allocation table being corrupted. My second card showed up in the mail (a week later--luckily I didn't need it right away). This time the card only had 16MB of usable space. I called Memorex and after an hour (no exaggeration) of being transferred around, they determined I needed a new card. The third card showed up and it has been working fine until today.

I am currently holding for Memorex. . . 36 minutes and 45 seconds. . . 46 seconds. . . 47 seconds. I thought while I was holding that I would warn the consumers about the Memorex products.

I should let everyone know I did not buy this card from Amazon originally. However, Amazon does seem to have some great prices on flash memory even the SanDisk, Viking, and Lexar cards seem to be a great price. Live and learn I guess.

2 Stars for two weeks with no problems--feel lucky Memorex!!

Summary: Great for transferring files
Review: I originally bought this card to use in my old digital camera; however, the camera can't handle a 32MB card. So now the card gets used for my home office "sneaker net." (If you're not familiar with that term, it refers to the practice of sharing files from one computer to the other by copying them onto floppy disks. You know, what we did in the old days, before wireless networks. ;o) )

This card, used with an inexpensive USB card reader, makes it easy to transfer files between my desktop and notebook computers, so when I travel I have all the files I'm working on in one convenient location.

I haven't experienced any problems reading or writing files. The card is compact and stores easily. Writing files to it is quicker and easier than burning a CD. I'm happy with my purchase, even though the card is not being used as I had intended.

Review: These little cards work wonderfully for MP3 storage. They load fast and store lots. I have had no difficulties and the music sounds great!
