Summary: Not for HP Photosmart 318 camera
Review: Purchased 128mb Viking compact flash card for an HP Photosmart 318 camera. When placed in camera, card refused formating instructions. Formating was accomplished when camera was linked to PC. When card was filled, it refused to download and activated "requires formating" prompt again. Images could not be accessed except through a USB card reader. Buslink CFCs work without problems. If you value your photos, use ONLY CFCs approved by the camera's maker.

Summary: Great product
Review: Purchased for my new G2. Works great, fast upload to my computer. Read all reviews before purchasing and seems the Viking is the best.

Summary: A must have!
Review: I just recently purchased a Canon digital camera and I bought this at the same time. I can take so many pictures with my new camera! If I would not have purchased this, I would have been disappointed with the fact that I can only take 15 pictures with my 8 MB card. With this card on the best resolution, I can take 250 pictures! You definitely need something like this if you really want to take advantage of your digital camera.

Summary: Great value and flawless performance
Review: This is one case where I got more than I paid for. I slid the unit into my Pocket PC and forgot it was not just part of the PDA.

Summary: Add it to your camera order.
Review: Most cameras come with a 32mg flash card. Thats not enough. Thats only about 54 good photos with a Canon Power Shot G-2. Add the 128 mg and you will get another 219 at a good quality setting.

Summary: Good price but slow
Review: I used this for my HandEra Palm handheld. 128MB is more than enough for me. I am a resident so I put a lot of medical books on it. I used probably about 70MB of it. It's cheaper than some but also slower than some. It took a 3-5 seconds longer to open documents on the card compared to my friend's card (I forgot the brand), which open 5 sec faster. He used a TRG Pro. I put my card into his machine and it took his machine longer to open stuff on my card and it took mine shorter to open stuff on his card. I also used this on my Canon Powershot G1 which works great. I found myself waiting for the card to write only once for the 6mo I have had it.

Summary: Great Card
Review: This is a great card. I bought this with my S200 Elph because I knew the included 8meg card wouldn't be large enough. It's transfer speed does talk a second or two, but its not long enough to make me irratated. Also, the two sides of the card are very different, so I can tell which side goes up. The card also looks very cool, very shiny. Before you buy this one, however, make sure that its the kind of card your camera/MP3 player/etc. takes, so you don't end up like the reviewer who said your MP3 player would need to be the size of a boombox to use this card. Another plus is that this is the cheapest 128meg card I have seen on Amazon.com. For a great value for a 128meg card, definately buy this one.
