Summary: Cheap and works with my Fujifilm FinePix 40i
Review: The price is REALLY good! And it works like a charm with my Finepix 40i which needed a smartmedia with ID for storing of mp3 files besides the digital photos.

Summary: GOOD PRODUCT FOR DIGITAL CAMERA
Review: Well, here's my two cents. I just got an Olympus C-2100 10X zoom lens camera for Christmas. Before getting the card, the best I could get at 2.1 megapixel resolution was about 15 frames or a 23 second video. After getting the 64 MB card, I can now get 128 frames or a 3 minute video. The cards are worth it, especially if you want to roam freely without having to go back to your laptop or PC to download all the time, and if you have the money and the inclination, 64 MB is better than 32 MB or 16 MB.

Summary: Great for MP3 Players
Review: Although another card was listed as the accessory, it was back ordered. I did some looking around and found out that this card is actually a lot better price per megabyte compared to the 32MB version.

This card allows me to have an extra one full hour of CD Quality music for my RIO MP3 player. It is very dependable and the price is well worth the extra half hour of music.

Until they come out with a 128MB smart media card (still months down the road), this is the best one on the market.

Summary: Apprehensive about buying at first. But now I'm glad I did!
Review: I needed a bigger card for my FujiFilm 2600z camera, which I also got off amazon.com almost two years ago. It came with a 16mb card but I needed something bigger, especially with my wedding coming up.

I was looking at the 128mb Memorex SmartMedia Card, but I discovered my camera was not on Memorex's compatibility list. My next choice was the 64mb card from Viking. I was a little skeptical at first because I had never heard of them before. However, after reading some great reviews from other amazon.com shoppers I decided to give it a shot (especially because it was priced lower then most of the others).

I could not be happier! First off I went from only being able to hold 20 photos (at max quality), to around 82! I have been using the card for months, taking photos, deleting them, transferring them to my PC, and so far it has been working great. The card also came with a plastic protective case, which is now where my 16mb card resides.

If I ever decide to go with the larger 128mb card, or if I get a new camera, I will definitely consider another Viking memory card, and would recommend their product to any of my friends.

Summary: How many pictures will it store?
Review: How many pictures will it store? It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about. Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.

The Viking 64MB SmartMedia Card, like most 64MB cards, will store on average 71 pictures when used with a 2 megapixel camera, 53 images when used with a 3 megapixel camera, 32 pictures when used with a 4 megapixel camera, 25 images when used with a 5 megapixel camera, and 20 pictures when used with a 6 megapixel camera. These numbers are based off the assumption that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and understand that they are estimates and may be off by as much as 10 percent due to numerous factors including the complexity of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your specific camera.

I truly hope this review was helpful to you in determining whether this card is the right capacity for your specific needs.
