Summary: NO GO WITH MINOLTA DIMAGE 7HI
Review: I own a Minolta Dimage 7hi. Put card in my camera and clicked an image. Erased it. There it gives me a CRAD ERROR. No further tricks worked on it. My camera just won't recognize it. Can't even format it. So Dimage 7Hi owners, BEWARE of this card. Even though the Minolta Compatibilty chart shows this card on their list, but I would still recommend everyone to be alert. However a 16MB Lexar Media 8x provided by Minolta with the camera works ok. Atleast do not buy from e-bay or any other site that does not guarantee return shipping. I finally bought a SanDisk for $49.xx from Costco and it works like a champ.

Summary: Lexar Faster? not for me
Review: I purchased a "24 X" Lexar 256 MB CF card for my Minolta Dimage 7 expecting that it would store large images faster than the much cheaper 256 MB CF card I already had [Delkin Devices eFilm]. I was disappointed: the Lexar card was even slower than the Delkin card. 15 Meg images take 32-33 seconds to store with the bargin CF card. The Lexar card takes 5 or 6 seconds longer. At low resolutions, there's no appreciable difference. I recommend buying the cheapest CF card that will work with your camera.

Review: I use this card in a Canon Powershot A70 and have had no problems. This 12x speed card seems to be faster than my other card, but for my travels I was more interested in reliability.

Summary: Happy, not angry anymore
Review: I used to own a SanDisk SD card which pissed me off, cuz it kept wiping out files and eventually died in a few months. I switched to this product and so far (about a month, cross my fingers) everything works fine. It seems to be pretty stable, and write speed is great. Only reason not giving 5 stars is because it's only been a month, and that the price dropped seven bucks a few days after I ordered it.

Summary: Worth Buying
Review: I wanted to buy a quality CF card for my quality camera Nikon 4300. I already liked the performance of the 'starter' card supplied with the camera and wanted no compromise with the performace I was expecting from my camera package.
This card has overall been worth the price and my judgement, the download speed has been excellent and I had no problems with it over last two months.

Summary: Very reliable, never lost a picture or file...
Review: I've been using this card for over a year now and I am still very happy. I purchased this Lexar product for my new digital camera (Canon PowerShot S45) after doing a lot of reading and research into what I should buy. It seemed that many consumers where complaining about other brands - lost pictures, write errors, etc. - except for Lexar where reviews were consistently good. I use the card in my camera and sometimes transfer data between my work computer and home. I so far (knock on wood) have never lost a picture or file, after taking over 1600 pictures and video clips and transferred hundreds of files of varying sizes.
I highly recommend this Lexar CF card.

Summary: No problems!
Review: I've been using this card with a Canon S400 camera for about four months now, taken 500+ pictures and transferred them to my computer. I've had absolutely no problems with the card, and it seems to write and erase as quickly as I could want. For me this was an excellent intersection of size and price; a capacity of roughly 125 photos at full four-megapixel resolution is plenty even for my most intensive day of photography, and this won't break the bank. I'm certainly disposed to buy Lexar stuff again in the future.

Review: I've got 2 of these cards and they have worked without a single problem. The 12x speed is also convenient -- when I am taking pictures with my Canon PowerShot A60 (2 MP), my camera can take a picture every 2 seconds (the reasoning to get a 12x over a 4x card). Downloading has been easy and has gone without a single error. The quality seems very good. Also, keep an eye on Amazon -- the price changes a lot, so look for the best deal! Amazon is the cheapest place I found to get this card.

Summary: Problem Free for 2 Months
Review: I've had both of my Lexar 256MB 12x CF cards for 2 months now and all is swell. I find these cards to be very reliable. My Usage:
- Nikon Coolpix 4500 (4MP)
- Audiovox Maestro (PocketPC 2002) I've taken close to a thousand shots since then and I have not had any problems. I haven't noticed any write speed issues at all, being that I know my camera is slow at writing the huge file size. I've transferred the photos via a CF usb reader & a cable hooked up directly to the camera. No problems; I just do a quick format of the card after I finish transferring the pics to the pc. I've put games, MP3s, WMAs, and other files onto them for use in my handheld and I'm pleased as can be. It comes down to peace of mind and I have not had any worries, thank goodness!
