Summary: What a great idea!
Review: Ever have some small (8mb or 16 mb) SD, MMC or Memory Stick cards from cameras that you are not using 'cause they're just too small? How about needing to download flash memory pictures on the road, and then you just want to give a copy to a friend whose PC has USB but they don't have a flash memory reader? What a great product! Works as advertised. Cheap and versatile replacement for a bunch of floppy drives. Don't leave home without it...

Summary: Great buy for clie and digital camera owners
Review: I have a Sony Clie (memory stick) and a Minolta Dimage camera (secure digital). With this little buddy I can transfer files from both devices faster and save battery, and can even use the cards and the Lexar Jumpdrive trio as a USB memory when not in use in the camera or the clie. I think it's probably one of the best buys I have ever done. Only cons: cap is off so easily and plastic feels a little fragile.

Review: I just got a jumpdrive trio a few weeks ago. I use it as a memory stick reader to transfer digital images and as a USB drive. Its great that it doesn't require drivers(Win2K/XP). All other memory stick readers I have used were much larger and required installing drivers. If you have a spare memory stick or MMC/SD card laying around, the jumpdrive is a great way to turn it into a USB drive for transferring files. Here are the transfer speeds I got using a 64MB Lexar memory stick.
- Used a 46MB Test File
USB 1.1 Port: 65 sec to write, 55 sec to read
USB 2.0 Port: 45 sec to write, 45 sec to read
From what I understand the memory stick media is likely limiting the speed. Pairing the jumpdrive with fast MMC or SD cards will likely show faster results.
The only concern I have with this device is that the plastic body and hinge feel somewhat fragile.

Summary: It's useful, but not very sturdy and I keep losing the cap
Review: I like this because it reads the SD cards in my digital camera, but I am not using for a portable thumb drive like I thought I would. The main reason it hasn't turned out to be a device I use everyday is because the cap keeps falling off. I have to keep it in its own pocket in my bag because otherwise the cap gets lost. Also, I found it popped open once (exposing my SD card) which really concerned me. The other reason I don't use it all the time is that it's so big, I have to connect it to a short USB extension cable to fit it into a USB port alongside other devices. (But a short USB cable was included -- very nice.) Rather than being indispensible, this device turned out to just be my backup card reader. Usually I just use my SimpleTech Mini FlashLink for a card reader, which is a sturdier and simpler card reader (even though it's not USB 2.0.)

Summary: I don't want to live without it!
Review: I love this little tool! It is so fast to transfer data from one computer to another with no wasting of disks or CD burning time. The biggest plus is tranferring pictures from my camera to someone else's computer - instantly! I'm getting one for all my adult children for Christmas! And I'm getting a new one for ME - I left it in a hotel room on vacation, and I have been MISERABLE without it. A good buy!

Review: I love using this drive due to it's upgradeability, but the cap comes off very easily. I recently lost the cap. If Lexar made a version with stronger plastic and a cap that is more secure, then the card would get five stars.

Summary: Does the job
Review: I purchased one about four months ago and have had no problems whatsoever. Works perfectly on every computer I've plugged it into. Only four stars because of its (supposedly) cheap construction, but it's had the tar beaten out of it in my bag, and nothing has broken off. Also it's kinda big, making it difficult to plug stuff into the adjacent USB port, but a thoughtful USB extension cable was (very generously) included so I shouldn't complain. Really helps me get the most out of my SD card. If you have one, this drive is absolutely essential. Goes perfectly with my digicam and Palm Zire71. I definitely recommend it over a typical USB keychain drive because of the flexibility of the removable memory card.
