Summary: Can't find the dang drivers
Review: Cute little thing but the bare bones instruction sheet tells me to install what's on the CD, then remove the CD and restart the computer. The instructions go on to say that when the reader is plugged in the computer will recognize it and automatically install the correct drivers for it. WRONG. My computer recognizes the new device but wants me to tell it where the drivers are. I've tried looking on the CD and in the very folder that the reader's program is installed but my computer still claims it can not find the driver. Go to Memorex.com and you have to fill out a very lengthy form and become a user before you can get an answer and I bet after all that I still won't know where the drivers are. I hate this thing already.

Summary: Simple, easy, non-intrusive...Great!
Review: This is a great little USB based smart card reader. There aren't any moving parts, bells, or whistles, which is just the way it should be.

Slide in the card, open up "My Computer", click the drive letter, and there is your stuff.

I plugged this into my Windows 2000 based PC's USB port and the machine recognized it, did whatever it had to do, and was ready to go to work. I didn't have to load any drivers at all. (woo hoo!).

I bought this to go along with the digital camera that I purchased for my wife so that she could easily get pictures off of the camera. It is indeed as easy as expected.

The only thing that would make this product even better is if it would also stand on its side instead of just flat.

Summary: Horrible!
Review: Unless you enjoy raising your blood-pressure, don't bother trying to make this work with Windows 98. Installing per Memorex's instructions does not work. The Customer Support page at Memorex doesn't help either.
