Review: I reviewed the Viking claim that this SIMM was compatible with the OEM (HP) SIMM.

I purchased the product, and installed the SIMM in my printer and it DID NOT work as advertised. The LaserJet 4 printer couldn't recognize the SIMM no matter which SIMM slot I used. Resetting the printer didn't help.

Advise is to be very careful about purchasing SIMMs for HP printers. Many "compatible" product are not compatible at all. Problem is, with the small amount of money involved, and considering shipping, it's not worth returning the item.

I can't trust Viking again.
