Summary: Problems with my Compaq 7360!
Review: Be careful when buying this memory - it didnt work with my Compaq 7360 - although the website says it is supposed to. However, I have used a similar viking part in the past (Viking PC10032X64-CL3 256 MB PC100 CL3 DIMM Memory) which works just fine with my Compaq 7360!!! I dont know what the difference is... If you do, please let me know!

Review: Despite the claim of guaranteed compatibility, this memory card was NOT compatible with my Compaq Presario! You should check first with Compaq to determine if this will work with your Presario.Also, the Viking website was a disaster when I went for technical assistance. First, they clearly advertised 24/7 telephone technical support --- wrong, it was the usual daytime hours. Second, there was absolutely no useful documentation to assist in installation of this particular memory card. Buyer beware

Summary: Fast, New, And EZ!
Review: First Of All I Have To Say That I Used To Have 46 Meg Of Ram And My Computer Ran So Slow That I Got Tired Of Waiting For Everything To Happen. I Had To Wait 2 Minutes Just For Programs To Load Up. I Finally Got So Sick Of It That I Went Out A Bought This Gr8 256 Meg Of Ram Card Made By Viking. I Opened Up My Computer Thinking That This Would Make My Computer Run A Tad Bit Faster. I Installed The Chip And Turned On My Computer. I Must Say This Has To At Least Be 20x Faster Than My 46 Meg Of Ram And That Is Not An Exaggeration. I Could Definitely Tell A Huge Difference And I Would Definitely Reccomend This Card For Anyone That Is Tired Of Waiting For Their Computer And All Their Programs To Load Up. This Chip Also Will Solve The Problem Of Being Able To Open More Than 5 Programs At Once. If I Ever Had More Than 5 Programs Open Before I Had This Chip My Computer Either Froze Or Just Ran Slower Than I Have Ever Seen Any Computers Run Before. With This Viking Chip I Am Now Able To Have Up To 10 Programs Open At Once Without Any Stalling Or Problems. This Chip Is Definitely A Best Seller And If You Are Thinking About Buying It, Stop Thinking About It And Go Get It! I Promise You Will Be Happy You Bought It And You Won't Regret It!

Review: I normally wouldn't write a review like this so this is really out of character. But I felt that a product that actually works and is easy to install is worth my penning a few notes. Let me preface this by saying that I am no Techno-Wiz. I am new to computers and new to this technology. However, the incredible ease of installation is worth a book in itself. I installed this board in a scant five minutes. Yes, with the ease of entering my Compaq computer and simply sliding the board in place, I was up an running in ten minutes. But installation is meaningless if the board does not perform. I used to be bogged in the molasses of numerous programs running simulataneously which rendered me the tortoise instead of the hare. I would frequently lock up or else crash because of too much with too little. The extra 256MB of RAM have brought a new dawn to my computing. I have not locked up since installation. I can run graphics programs simulataneously. And, I don't have to get another cup of coffee every time I request my computer to perform the lightest of tasks. How does it work? Don't know and don't care. End results are the acid test. The Viking board I installed works. That is good enough for me. Richard Warren

Summary: Same Song Second Verse
Review: I wish I had went with my gut instinct and taken the advise of the other reviewers that had less than two thumbs up for this product and Viking Tech Support. 3 sets of modules later my system still does not find the modules compatiable and Viking support states that there is nothing more they can do "Our information says that they should work". So much for their information. And so far I have had no response from Viking about returning the product and receiving credit. By the way you will have to deal directly with Viking for returns, Amazon does not assist in this area expect to provide you with an e-mail address and 1-800 #. So my advise to you is to contact your system's maker and find out from them if your system will take Viking's products.

Review: Since I installed my new memory card, everything just runs so much faster. Even my internet pages come up faster and my downloads are much better.
