Rating: Summary: Excellent, Low-cost Upgrade for Toshiba Laptop Review: I also own a Toshiba Satellite 2545CDS that came with only 32MB of RAM. Unfortunately, the 128MB upgrade is no longer manufactured so I had to settle for a measly 64MB. However, for its low price, the Viking T75064 is a bargain, and worked flawlessly the moment I installed it and turned the machine on. There is absolutely no need to pay more than double its cost buying the original Toshiba part, or even Kingston's KTT version. The Viking is just fine.

Rating: Summary: Not compatible Review: I own a Toshiba Satellite 2545CDS with only 32MB of RAM. That was plenty when I bought the system, but now, of course, I need considerably more. I was going to order the memory module directly from Toshiba, but when I saw that I could order it here for... less, I went ahead and did so. The module arrived, I installed it carefully, turned on the computer and . . nothing. I reinstalled the module, tried again, and still the computer only had 32MB of RAM. It took several days for me to get a response from Viking customer service via e-mail, and by then I'd done enough research to know that the module was either incompatible with my motherboard (despite the guaranteed compatibility) or that it was defective. I'm not willing to go through the whole process again, so I'll go ahead and order the module from Toshiba this time. I've given the module two stars, because there always is a chance that it is damaged....
