Summary: Works well with WinXP
Review: With PC manufacturers skimping on soundcard inputs, especially on notebook computers, the iMic is a great solution. I use it for the stereo mic inputs, something not found on your average soundcard. WinXP sees it as soon as it is plugged in, however, you may have to check your Windows Recorder settings to ensure it is configured correctly.

The documentation is light, but then, this is a very simple device. The only quirk is the switch for changing from mic input to line input is backwards, you have to move the switch AWAY from the mic symbol when using the input jack for mics.

The audio quality is excellent. You may want to switch your speakers from your soundcard to the iMic when you plug it in to enjoy maximum fidelity.
