Review: The 3D prophet from Guillemot (formaly known as hurcules)is a powerfull player in the 3D card market.powered by the Nvida geforce 256 chip and 32 megs of sdram it produces crisp 32 bit graphics, running the latest games at high resolutions with relative ease. 2D graphics are smooth and clear as well. games like quake 3 and unreal tournament run fast with +60 fps and the textures look great. bringing the games to life with vibrant colours, dymanic lighting effects and realistic textures. overall the prophet is a great card even the most fickle gamer would be happy with.

Summary: Excellent Card
Review: The Geforce is better than ANY Voodoo card in its generation. Whoeverwas comparing this to the V5 and 6 is making unfair comparisons, because those two came out much later. The Geforce is superior to its main competitor, the Voodoo 3, in practically every way. The Geforce 2 repeats this by beating out all the new Voodoos. In short, always go with an NVidia card.

Summary: Sleeper Video Card
Review: The Guillemot video card is one of the best video cards on the market. Guillemots' name may be not well known but, once you put this card into your system you will never forget the name. 32 megs, geforce processor what more could you ask for. The hype right now are the 64 meg cards 3dfx brand voodoo. The question is do you really need this much ram. The guillemot 3D Prophet card will be more than you will ever need and then some!

Summary: The speed is unbeliveable!
Review: The speed of this card is amazing. It produces 3D graphics like I have never before. AND! it has onborad hardware Trasform and Lighting. The Voodoo5 still has to realy on the CPU for T&L. This is all due to the first ever GPU(Graphics Processing Unit)which only nVidia's award winning GeForce256 chipset has. It also renders all 4 graphics pipelines, While the Voodoo 5 only renders 2 creating a "bottleneck" and slowing down speed. Pumping out fill rates of 480 megapixels and 3.8 Gigatexels! textures are increadably clean and crisp. It has over 22 million transistors thats twice the complexity of a Pentium 3! The details are increadable, you can't go wrong with this card. For once you will have a graphics card that is faster than your processor!

Summary: Great card but is it worth the money with all the new cards
Review: This card is exceelent the colors are out of this world but it could be a little less expensive considering the geforce2 gts is already on the market and its much faster and only costs slightly more. Yet I still give this 4 stars because it is an excellent card. And if your looking for a very good card this is it.

Summary: This card is OK
Review: This card is OK if all you do is play quake 3. If you decide on playing other OpenGL or Glide games, this is terrible. When I got it, i could not play Unreal Tournament on it, one of my favorite games, due to lack of Rave and Glide support. The so called AntiAliasing is TERRIBLE. There are still plenty of jagged lines when you play. This is why i returned it and bought a Voodoo 5. I expected much better from nVidia. I guess 3Dfx wins this match.

Summary: 256-bit, Baby!
Review: This card is the best I've ever seen. It works great with games and high-end applications, whether it's with Diablo II or AutoCAD. The 256-bit data pipe, the 4 graphics processors, and the DVD support takes care of everything I need. :-)

Summary: 3dfx brand loyality is expensive
Review: This card is vastly faster and more feature rich than 3dfx cards. These cards are available with 32Mb or 64Mb. Voodoo5 technology duplicates data amongst it's processors therefore divide the amount of physical memory by the number of processor to calculate the amount of logical memory. Even a Voodoo5 6000 only has 32Mb of real memory capacity (128Mb divided by 4 processors). An expensive way to buy a 32Mb graphics card. Consider being loyal to a lover rather than a computer graphics card manufacturer. It's time to move on away from 3dfx.

Summary: A Monster Ahead of its Time
Review: This GeForce video card is the best video card you can buy. Superb lighting and blazing speed make this a winner. However, it's overkill for the common user. If you're a games or graphics buff, this is what you've been waiting for.

Review: This Graphics Card. When I had Unreal Tournament before I had this card the graphics were horrible, but after you could see no boxes or pixels. It's amazing!
