Description:
The Radeon VE Dual Display Edition offers excellent features and performance. It includes flexible multi-display support, 32-bit true color, comprehensive support for popular operating systems, DVD playback, and integrated DVI and CRT output. Its most important feature is the ability to display to two monitors at the same time. Work with huge spreadsheets, multiple applications in full-screen mode, or play DVD-video on one screen while typing to the other; the possibilities are endless. With the included HydraVision Multiple Monitor Management Software, you'll quickly be able to set up your desktop across your displays. Create and organize up to nine active multi-monitor desktop applications. Assign hot keys for the functions you use most often: moving active windows, accessing controls, or opening applications with a single keystroke. There's no need to reset your settings every time you turn on your computer. With the Application Position Memory, your applications will automatically open in your preferred position. The Radeon VE also provides excellent 3-D performance with full support for DirectX and OpenGL. 3-D resolutions up to 1,920 x 1,440 in 16.7 million colors are supported, plus anti-aliasing to remove jagged edges and single-pass multi-texturing (three textures per cycle) for more realistic game play. Performance is increased by ATI's HYPER Z technology, which reduces memory bandwidth consumption for improved performance, and setup and upgrading are easy with a unified driver for all Radeon products. Full-screen DVD-playback is also supported, and integrated motion compensation and iDCT enable you to keep working on a project during DVD playback, even on basic PCs.
