Summary: The fastest, most powerful video card I've used to date.
Review: There isn't much to say about Visiontek's Xtasy 6964 video card. It's fast, feature-packed, and one of the best implementations of NVIDIA's GeForce3 Ti500 chipset I've seen. It installs very easily in an AGP slot that supports 1.5 volt devices; you'll have to check your system documentation or motherboard manual to ensure compatibility. The lone CD contains the drivers although you can download the latest drivers from NVIDIA's web site or Visiontek's (28.32 as of this writing).

In games the card is fast and throws up consistently fast frame rates. Some games don't run faster, rather they look smoother. And anti-aliasing is an option with this card; some reviewers don't think you can enable 4X anti-aliasing without sacrificing frame rates. The key is the processor speed along with the card; anything beyond 1GHz can handle anti-aliasing. Minimum requiremens call for a Pentium II or AMD K6-2 class processor, Windows 95 or higher, 64MB of RAM, a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive, and an AGP 2.0 slot (again it must support 1.5 volt devices).

Even with the release of the GeForce4 family of video chipsets this card is still a great buy. Get it while supplies last!!
