Summary: Not a bad video card
Review: ... i just bought this, plugged it in, and it worked great! I can play pretty much any game on the highest settings at 1024 x 768 resolution. I've tried call of duty, unreal tournament 2003, warcraft III, need for speed underground, and more all at the highest setting, amazing graphics =)

Review: I have just bought this Xtasy 9200 SE video card, and am deeply dissapointed in my purchase. After hours of trying to get my Dell to acknowledge that it was there, I finally got it work. When I decided to try my brand new graphic card on a inferior graphics game, I experienced multiple crashes that resulted in more "ATI driver not detected" messages. This company offers no tech support on their website concerning anything remotely close to this. I plan on taking this paper weight back to the store tomorrow for a full refund. Do not buy this card!!!!

Summary: Underwhelming Customer Support
Review: I purchased another VisionTek video card (model 5564) just 8 months ago, and I have to say that I'm not terribly pleased with the company's committment to customers. When I installed Microsoft Flight Simulator, it wouldn't detect my video card; so like any well-trained consumer, I went to VisionTek's site to download the latest drivers. But lo and behold! VisionTek's site offers no drivers or support for any model prior to the 9100, when they switched from Nvidia chips to ATI chips. The support that _is_ available is sketchy at best--two FAQs and a forum, where strangely, there's no place to post questions on any earlier product either. When I wrote their customer service organization for help, the advice I received was a one-line response suggesting I update the drivers. Thanks, VisionTek. Before you purchase this, or any, VisionTek product, make sure you check their website and find out more about their ongoing support.

Summary: This ones for you - PCI Version
Review: I recently installed this card on a rebuilt Compaq for my friend. The Compaq had integrated video on the mother board and no AGP slots. He wanted it set up to play Sims 2 which requires a direct x 9.0 compatible card. I'm happy with the card because it was quick and easy to install and plays Sims 2 with no problem despite the fact the computer is only a Celeron III 800. If your looking for a nice video card that's not going to break the bank this ones for you.

Works perfectly fine for games (C&C:Generals, UT2003) , video editing, etc. I only occassionally use the TV out but it appears similar to what it does from my friend's more expensive video card. I am using Win 2K and the software sent with it works. I bought the card because it was cheap and in case I may need the VIVO function sometime.It appears that Soyo motherboards have trouble with this. My DFI motherboard works perfectly fine with it. The other problem in other reviews, MS Plus, is probably due to the program.

Just because you had problems does not mean that everybody will too have the same problem.
I have this card for 4 weeks and no complains.
Visiontek makes very solid products LIFE TIME GUARANTEE.

Summary: VisionTek no longer honors warranty
Review: VisionTek went bankrupt. A new company bought the rights to the VisionTek name. The new company no longer honors any of the "lifetime" warranties (even though they promised that they would in their press releases when they bought the name). The offer no drivers for the previous cards either. In short, if you have any problem with a VisionTek card from more than a year ago, you are stuck. There are many manufacturers of similar cards. Buy a card from someone else who you can hopefuly trust.
