Summary: Good Card - NO DISK
Review: I am very happy with the card, but it came without a drivers disk and Tech support never answered my e-mails or returned my calls. I had to go to PNY's site and download the drivers. No biggie if you have an internet connection, but could be a real problem for those who don't have or don't want an internet connection.

Summary: the best PCI card available
Review: I have a compaq pc, celeron 700 MHZ, and 384MB Ram. But I tell you, that's not enough! My friend has a same computer as mine, I saw him played Counter-Strike, and the graphics were just not good. The compaq PC also don't have an AGP slot.(How can that be?) I was pondering what could I get for my PC for months, and finally I chose this PNY 64MB Geforce2 PCI card!
I tested this card by playing the Half-Life: Blue-Shift, and the result just amazed me. The graphics, reflections were realistic, and the motions were so smooth. I can't imagine that could happened on my pc. The graphics look much better than some PS games (like Resident Evil: Gun Survivor), and even as good as the PS2 version of HalfLife. Later, I played the Aliens vs predator 2 demo, and it looks even better. It looks just like the screenshots I saw on the website, the actions are almost seamless and the graphics are surreal.
This card enhances your 3D gaming experiences alot. Though when I played the NBA Live 2001, it looks not much better than before, maybe that's the problem of EA sports. Nonetheless, this card is the best PCI card available in the market! I don't know how much better is an AGP card, but this PCI card has already exceeded my expectations!

Summary: Great Card!
Review: I have a K-2 500Mhz and this card really helps out making the games run smoothly and look great! (I've also upgraded the memory to 384 megs of RAM) I would love to have an AGP slot, but since I foolishly bought a Compaq several years ago, this card is the best thing I could have done. Prices have really come down recently to make this upgrade very affordable.

Summary: Unsuccessful Install
Review: I have an AMD K6-2 CPU and an Amptron PM9600 motherboard with TXTwo chipset (no onboard video). According to all advertised material, my system met all requirements. Unfortunately, installation proved impossible. I could only get 16 colors at 640x480 resolution. I downloaded new NVIDEO drivers, downloaded new drivers from PNY, downloaded new chipset and motherboard drivers, tried multiple BIOS settings, contacted PNY tech support (impossible by phone, but fast email response), searched the GeForce FAQ website (search for geforcefaq) for solutions, all to no avail. After many hours and multiple reboots and tweeking and experimenting, my old video board is back in and the GeForce2 board is out. The moral: if you have a vanilla Intel chipset, board, and CPU, this will probably work just fine. If you don't, save yourself the trouble and look for a less demanding video board.

Summary: Geforce 2 MX 400
Review: I have just purchased this graphics card for my computer and I think that it is great! I have a compaq computer with no AGP slot and have been looking for a good PCI graphics card that was not too expensive. When I saw this Geforce 2 MX 400, I was very surprised. I did not even know that there were 64 MB graphics cards that were PCI. I bought the card immediately and installed it. Installation was very easy and once everything was set up and the drivers were installed, I decided to test the card. I played Max Payne with it, a game which I could not play previously because my graphics card was not good enough. The card performed very well and I was amazed! I had such good graphics and smooth game play. The graphics look very realistic and I do not know how I lived without this card. I can play any game I want and I have amazing graphics now. I gave this product five stars because of the excellent graphics and the affordable price. At times, the card seems a tad bit slow, but it is barely noticeable. This is a great product!

Summary: A card for people who don't have an AGP slot
Review: I was sad to learn that my computer didn't have an AGP slot. I thought I was going to have to suffer with the performance of a PCI graphics card. Surprising enough this card performed better then I expected. Of course, I don't have an AGP card to compare it to, but it performs well enough that I forget that it's a PCI card. I can play most current games with the settings from medium to high (at 800 x 600 resolution) without much performance loss. So if you are one of the unfortunate people who don't have an AGP slot then try this card. Just remember it's still a PCI card...but it should keep you happy until you get a computer with an AGP slot.

Summary: SUPERB CARD!!!
Review: I was VERY VERY pleased with this product!!! The price is very reasonable and received it promptly.

I had to upgrade my video card since I am a DOOM maniac and was unable to play DOOM 3 on my older card. I bought this card because of the NVIDIA name and knew that it could handle it with no problem. Even using it with my older games it is a gem! grab one of these great cards.
