Summary: Great card for an older PC
Review: I installed this card on my 500mhz Celeron PC with PCI slots only. It had integrated Intel graphics (which are horrible) and this card really breathed some new life into it. My "megapixels per second" on PC Pitsop.com went from a pathetic 15 to 60! I can actually play a few games now (one or two year old hand-me-downs from a friend like Diablo II!). The card has great drivers and is very stable with my old system. A PNY GeForce4 MX440se card was a mess on my PC with errors and crashes continually (returned it). The Hercules card is solid as a rock! Highly recommended!

Summary: Cheaply Made
Review: When I first got this card I expected a great budget card. It was great for old games such as Half-Life, and Quake 2. However, the card had zero durability. Couple months after I got it I started getting strange graphical artifacts in OpenGL. This happened because the cooling fan failed. It still worked fine, but the thermal compound blew away. I replaced the fan and the compound but the artifacts were still there. It caused pernament damage to the card. I got the card replaced at the store with great difficulty. The jackass at the store didn't believe me that the card was broken. The card worked fine, but several months later the artifacts appeared again. I replaced the fan again and the thermal compound but I guess the card is pernamently damaged again. Also the card didn't fit in my new motherboard! I decided to get a different video card. I can safely say that my S3 Trio with no 3D support was better than this piece of crap. The card can't function normally without breaking down. Buying this card is suicide. I will never buy another Hercules product again. The quality of the product is abysmal.
