Summary: Its OK.......
Review: i bought this card after realizing i had to send the agp one back because i have no agp slot. When i bought it i thought i was in for a joyride with grpahics. I am running a K6-2 476mhz, 224 megs and this card with win 98. I can run some games but other games run choppy like empire earth it runs at like 11 fps. Can someone please email me or post a way to get my fps higher or tell me how to fix this. i have the drivers onstalled off the cd and downloaded the latest.

Summary: Unfortunately, it stinks
Review: I previously wrote a good review for this card, because it worked for a week or two once I figured out how to install it. Unfortunately, after about two weeks of use, it crashed my system -- I removed it and all its software from the system, restored the defaults, and then tried to do a clean reinstall of this card. But I could not get the CD to install the drivers no matter what I did. All system requirements were met otherwise, and my computer is in good shape. So either the specific card I bought was defective, or this item is just plain no good.

Summary: just dandy for multiple displays
Review: If you already have another graphics card for regular gameplay, but you want just a little more desktop room when youre doing research for that big term paper, then this is the card for you. As long as you reserve the high graphics games to your primary display, then this card should give you all the functionality you need for business and low-graphics applications.

Summary: Which to buy a Geforce or TNT2?
Review: Let me start by saying that I love computer games. From the new Return to Castle Wolfenstein to playing Age of Empires II online. With this in mind, I always thought when I decide to buy a new video card I would go with the Geforce chipset on a card manufactured by Hercules. I mean come on, every computer gaming magazine tells me that they're the best. Well they may be, but they are also one of the most expensive. I have a Pentium III 500 with 512 MB of RAM and no AGP port. The one thing it lacked was a good video card. I went to the local computer store fully thinking I was buying some Geforce card when I stumbled upon this at $69.99. Well I must say that I am not disappointed with the PNY Verto TNT2-M64 32MB SDRAM PCI. I played Return to Castle Wolfenstein and it didn't miss a beat. The video rendering was perfect. I highly recommend this card to anyone who need a great PCI video card and are on a budget. Also I just want everyone out there to know that Geforce isn't the only chipset out there.

Pro: Excellent video card for the money.

Con: No TV out and PCI only

Summary: Too Old
Review: the chipset in this card is 3 years old, It will not run any of the newest computer games even on the lowest settings. For 45 bucks you could probably buy an old GeforceMX or a Radeon 7000, or pay a little more for a 7500. This is not worth it at all

Summary: Works well with onboard 810 chipset PCs
Review: The installation was easy and the card works very well, increasing the quality of graphics quite a lot. I especially recommends it for people who have a PC with onboard graphic controller, aka i810. This board, made by Intel, is a piece of junk. It is difficult to disable and some video cards, like the Radeon 7000, will not install, giving you the blue screen of death (I tried that)!

If you own a HP Pavilion, chances are you have the infamous chipset i810.

I highly recommend this card as the install was easy.

Summary: Years out of date
Review: There is no reason to buy this card. The TNT-2 chipset is years out of date and it cost almost as much as a newer, faster video card. You can buy this very card for about 10 bucks at your local mom and pop computer store. I suggest instead you buy a Radeon 7500 if you want a cheap video card.
