Summary: Card Ok - Quirky Drivers
Review: ATI is not known for its driver development. The card performs well...but installation was a bear...drivers frequently did not work with other devices (USB USR modem for one) I have since upgraded to the 64meg, dual processor, rage and have found that to be a bit better. Dont know if I will buy an ATI card again though

Summary: Great all around card. Description was a little inaccurate
Review: First of all, this is one great card for someone who does a little of everything. Is it the best for gaming? Heck no! But for spreadsheets-overkill, web browsing-sensational, graphics presentations-just what I needed, DVD playback-no other card does it better, and an occasional game-you bet. Now that those praises are over, the description that convinced me to get this card is slightly inaccurate. This was the Rage 128 GL based card. NOT the newer Rage 128 PRO chip listed in the description. Frankly, for my purposes it doesn't matter; I was well pleased with the price and the performance, but they should update that description better. As for installation, I've never had it easier. Took out the old card, put in the new, and loaded the drivers. A few minutes later I was in business. Now I have to admit I had a pretty clean system. The only added component from the original box was an ethernet card, so I suspect there could be conflicts if your machine has been nailed together like Frankenstein's monster. Still for folks who don't mind not having the best, but like having the second best, this is an excellent all purpose card.

Summary: A very decent graphics accelerator
Review: I had no problem installing it. Set up was easy. Games do very well on my system and for the price I can't beat it. I am going get another one for my other system.

Summary: Great Card, Great Price
Review: Let's just put it this way, it saved me a $500 upgrade for a pentium III. I work off of a 300Mhz Celeron, and it performs beautifully. Will work better once I upgrade next week to Pentium II 400Mhz. CAN't WAIT!

Summary: What an eye full!
Review: My Compaq 5660 came with a 4mb ATI Rage Lt Pro, what a great board, it's no Charles Atlas mind you but it truly was the little engine that could, or at least tried every single time. But with todays high software demands, the little engine had to be retired to the round house, now his 32mb big brother rules the rails of my computer. I have friends that have spent weeks working around patching problems for their Voodoo boards and it seems everytime I log onto Lucas Arts and other software companies web-sites they're offering the latest patches for Voodoo products, thank God I stayed with a brand I used and trusted. The installation was a breeze (and I'm a computer idiot), visuals are stunning and the performance... well in one word, flawless. And can you believe it, ATI is the only board I could find that offered a TV composite out, great option. Seems Voodoo may have won the marketing battle but in my book, ATI has won the performance war. Bravo ATI, keep up this kind of effort in all the hardware you develope and I'll demand it in every system I buy.
