Summary: A good card-but doesn't do the trick for today's gaming
Review: And the price really is quite high. This card inclues Pixel Shading 1.1, Vertex Shading 1.1, Pure HW T & L, 3-D textures, Full screen 4x antialaising AGP 2-4x support, full directx8.1 support, and more to make 3-D gaming actually 3-D. For today's and tommorow's state of the art gaming, this is NOT the card you want. You certainly won't be able to play DOOM 3 with the enables good, and yo won't get good performance if you enable all the goods at a high resolution in Unreal 2: the awakening, you'll get a decent frame rate if you do so in UT2k3, but if you really want a card from NVIDIA that's better but you don't want to spend a lot of money, get the ti4200 geforce 4!!

Review: Geforce3 TI 200 = Solid card.. but not worth this price.. at a max you should only pay $80 for a Geforce 3 TI 200. The Geforce 4 TI card does not have much of a significant improvemant over this card so your FPS is still bound to suffer on DX9 games unless you get Nvidia's new 50 series drivers "warning" These drivers lower the fog table emulation to improve performance. I have a Geforce 3 TI 500 on my XP 2000 machine with 1 gig of crucial ram, and the card performs solidly. Plus the cards are highly overclockable but beforewarned if you want to go above 500mhz use NVMAX and get a bigger heatsink.. I will say for DX9 get an ATI card. On my XP 2700 1 gig Corsair ram 333mhz FSB PC "my main pc" i use a ATI 9700 Pro and let me tell you DX9 games rock on ATI products.. Geforce TI cards are good cards on a budget. If your looking at a 5900 or 5950 dont waste your money Buy ATI, Nvidia still hasnt provided the market with a solid DX9 card or Driver combo yet....GF3 Ti card is a solid well performing card for those on a budget, hell it kicks the Geforce 4 MX cards lineup by far..... so yea buget people buy this power users get a9700 or 9800 pro
