Summary: Good, while it lasted...
Review: I was initially quite impressed with this card - though the unique voodoo to vga cable adaptor was a bit odd. The card performed well, and actually still is. However, the special cable that came with the card (the only one that will allow your monitor to view the signal) is having problems now. If this was any other card I could easily buy a new VGA cable. Voodoo shortsightedness in the making of this product puts me in an awkward position - buy a new card so that I'm not tied to a propriatary setup or search eBay for an extra cable. All in all, not worth the ticket pricel

Summary: Do Not Buy This
Review: I'm sure someone has made this comment before in these reviews. .... There are so many better graphics cards that are cheaper like a lower end Radeon or lower end geforce. Not only that but 3dfx went out of business, so there is not support for this product anymore. I owned a voodoo3, and now I own a voodoo5 5500. The voodoo5 [isn't good] (except if you want to play games that are supported with glide). I had a choice between that and the Geforce2, and I made the wrong decision. In summary, while this was a good card 2 years ago, it is in the computer stone age now, and the company that makes it no longer exists. I rest my case.

Summary: The VooDoo 3500 tv from 3DFX
Review: I've been happy since I installed that card in my CPU. Great textures handling, smooth gaming and super fast 2d/3d acceleration. I recommand this card to anyone who is interrested in retouching and sending movies or clips on the net. The module that comes with the card is awesome, no more back pain trying to plug your wire in or out, this module gives you access to all the important input/output of your card in seconds ! The only card that will replace mine will be that VooDoo 5 6000.....When it comes out !

Summary: EXCELLENT CARD WHO APPRECIATES 3DFX
Review: I've been using voodoo series video cards for quite some time for playing games, wathing dvd (etc.)and always been satisfied with their performance with any kind of windows based applications. The best part about the VOODOO 3 3500/2000/3000, their compatible with every game in the market, but forget about intel motherboards.WHY? Intel chipset based motherboards unfortunetly lack support for few games i've known so far(roque spear, etc.)and most intel fanatics blame on other parts of the computer(video card/sound/processor), but not considering that so called "INTEL" is not a godess or a close match. I own both Voodoo 3 3500/2000 agp series and their perform above their specifications(no doubt). Voodoo 3500 is a great performer in almost anything: tv out is fine/tv tuner is more than fine no complaints so far.

Summary: Better Than The REST
Review: I've used 2 other Graphics Accelerators on my Computer (and several others on a different one), but this one outdoes them all.The Graphics are wuite sharp and I don't even have the slight jump that u get with some other cards (the Banshee for one). If anyone was going to get a Graphics Accelerator soon. You'd be best off to get one of these!!! They kick a**!! :)

Review: If you are out of the range of buying a Voodoo5 card yet still won't something to feed your visual needs, this is a great buy. I remember the first time I tried this out just looking at Windows OS and I wondered to myself "It looks the exact same" (its doesn't work miracles or something =) ). I decided to see how the 3D card would handle Unreal and Unreal Tourney. As soon as I turned on the game I began to drool. To think that my computers was smoothing out the graphics this sleek, and keeping the frame rate perfect! Along with the awesome 3D card comes the option to hook your cable to your computer and watch from the ease of your monitor. Not only that but there is video capture and you can hook your VCR to your comp and watch some movies. As I said before, if you are looking in this price range......give it a shot, you'll love me for it. Good Luck!

Summary: An excellent card
Review: Let me first state that I purchased this card from another vendor. But that doesn't negate this review in the least. Anyone interested in the fastest multimedia card today should definitely check out the Voodoo3 3500. Not only is the card faster than two Voodoo2s in Direct3D, OpenGL, and Glide but it comes with a TV/FM tuner that has stereo dbx support. You can also encode MPEG-2 video and edit video and audio files. The card ships with an adapter cable that splits into two connectors. The first is a VGA connector for your monitor and the second is a pod that contains inputs and outputs for S-video, composite video, and audio. The cable then attaches to the cards's connector. After running this board for past few days I'm glad I bought it. The drivers are more stable than anything NVIDIA can code and the image quality is quite excellent. 3dfx recommends that you have a Pentium II 266MHz system as the minimum with an available AGP slot. Even with Voodoo 4 and 5 on the horizon the 3500 is a dynamite card that's guaranteed last for quite some to come.

Summary: Good, but GeForce is alot better
Review: My friend has this card on his 800mhz and it runs great with unreal tournement and madden 2000. I got a new 1000mhz which came with the Geforce 256 and it was so much better I couldn't believe it. It was shooting out more frames a sec then the Vodoo even if i turned up my latency. I recomend both but the geforce more.
