Summary: poor driver support in W2K
Review: The shipping driver for W2K does not support hardware acceleration. NVidia has a beta driver, but it is really buggy, and Diamond/S3 has not announced any plans for their own driver.

If you need hardware acceleration in Windows 2000, this is not the card for you!

Summary: Viper 770 Ultra
Review: This card was TOP OF THE LINE when it came out a few years ago. It was a $275-$300 card when new and first out. It is still an excellent performer and a good all round card. It will NOT keep up with the NEW FX Nvidia cards or the ATI 9800's... but it is several years older and many dollars cheaper. I have installed this card in at least 50 computers I've built in the past with NO problem from any of them. (This card can be overclocked)
Although Diamond is gone the drivers etc. are available through Nvidia and from the company that now owns the old Diamond stuff... Just Do a Search on the Internet for all this. GREAT CARD!!
