Rating: Summary: Great for the money! Review: For the price, this wheel is an easy way to make driving games more fun. It has fairly good response but don't expect it to operate like a real automobile. Neither the wheel or peddles (gas/break) are as remotely sensitive as a real car but this is after all, just a gaming device and it gets the job done. The software loads easily and works on Windows XP right off the CD. It is also recognized by older software versions like Need For Speed II.The one caveat is that you should have a flat, fairly smooth surface on which to mount the wheel and you should fasten it on tightly because if you don't, the wheel easily dislodges during the middle of the game and ruins your run.

Rating: Summary: Steering Wheel for PS2 Review: Great and fun no matter what age.
Rating: Summary: I must be doing something wrong Review: I can't help but rate this item very low. I've been going through the other reviews and I don't understand how people are having so much fun with this. I've tested this mainly on Colin McRae Rally 2, and CMR 3. The games are really great driving games, and CMR3 even detected the Wingman Formula GP before I installed the logitech software. But driving in these games using this wheel is a series of zig-zags through the rally tracks! It's terribly annoying, you spend more time trying desperatly to aim the car at the road, steering left and right furiously, than actually concentrating on the race, the curves and your timing. I've played some tracks dozens of times and up to now, using the wheel, I simply cannot beat the time I did with the keyboard on my first try! So... what's the point to buying a steering wheel and pedals if you can actually play driving games better on your keyboard?
Rating: Summary: It take a little getting used to..... Review: Okay, so the pedals don't feel like real automobile pedals. It's a gaming device, people! I'm looking for realism plus fun, and that's what I got. True, it does take a considerable amount of practice to get used to it. Especially if, like me, you've spent years mashing keyboard buttons to play driving games. I'ts a LOT harder using the wheel and pedals, but a heck of a lot more fun! To answer Pedro Couto e Santo's question in his earlier review: 'So... what's the point to buying a steering wheel and pedals if you can actually play driving games better on your keyboard?'. The answer is you can't play driving games with the wheel and pedals the same way you play with the keyboard. You have to re-learn everything. Have fun with your re-education!
Rating: Summary: Budget goodness. Review: Smooth, fairly well designed, it's definitely better than a joystick for driving games.
Rating: Summary: Great for the money! Review: This product is awsome! You get the most for your hard-earned money! If your getting a racing wheel and pedals, this one beets them all. It is also better to get a used because it's ...cheaper, and the used are still in working condition or better. I recomend games like: driver, nascar 2000,or Need for Speed:3 hot pursuit.
