Summary: Unstable
Review: Bought it and returned it within 24 hours. When the joystick is in 'neutral' it kind of sends random signals to the computer so that while I was flying Falcon 4 my F-16 would wobble around. Very annyoing. Also it's not a very precise sitck. I bought a Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro. Same price. Extremely precise and stable. Cheesy looking but great. By that one instead.

Summary: IMac users beware!
Review: Great joystick but doesn't work with the imac, unless you get the USB version.

Review: I love this stick! Everyone in my family can use it because it fits for left and right handed people. It's almost perfect!

Summary: Nearly but not quite
Review: If the wow factor is important to you, then this stick has it coming out of its ears. With its high tech appearance it's bound to get a few admiring glances, and its sleak matt anti-slip finish is a joy to hold. I think Saitek must also be praised for its attempts to make this stick so adaptable. The supplied key tool can be used to raise and lower the hand support for any size of hand and it can also be switched to the opposite side, as can the throttle lever, making it suitable even for left handed players. The top buttons can also be adjusted in two planes for added comfort. So where is the achilles heal? Well, for one, the point of view hat is positioned in a way that makes it very hard to use without accidentally pressing one of the three buttons in front of it (unless you happen to have an incredibly long thumb that is). Also, there are definite problems with stray signals during games causing twitches. Saitek's latest drivers claim to have cured this problem, but even with them installed there were still stability problems evident. Finally, within a day of purchase, the trigger became so tight that it was not releasing the microswitch. The addition of a little light machine oil seemed to cure this problem, but for how long remains to be seen. I dearly wanted this to be the perfect stick, but it ended up a bit of a letdown really. Fingers crossed for the next model eh!

Summary: PC only means PC only!
Review: Ignore the MacAddict article that appears on the item description page. It is referring to the USB version of this item, which is not what Amazon is selling here. This has some sort of PC-only gameport connector.

Summary: Great joystick, Great Price, but no Windows 2000
Review: This is one of the best joysticks I've used, and dollar for dollar it a great deal. It a rugged, can be customized, and has just enough weight to keep it stable.

The only minus is that Saitek will not support this model under Windows 2000. It will work under W2000, but you'll need to define a custom config for it, and you will lose access to some features.
