Rating: Summary: Good, yet not Review: At first, the joystick seemed cool! I played Descent and Freespace, and it was easy to control. It didn't seem akward, or annoying, however something happened to it shortly after. I'd hold it steady, and my ship would quickly shoot to the right some. I thought maybe I abused it, so I got another, and now the HAT isn't working too well. You get what you paid for. If you're a serious gamer, maybe something more expensive, something that will last a long time.
Rating: Summary: "Doesn't work with XP sometimes" Review: Bad customer service. Not knowledgeable and give differing information. I was told after returning the first as it was "defective", that it was my computer and I would need to upgrade for more money. My computer is a brand new top of the line fully updated Dell pentium 4 2.7 gz. Anyway, bad company. Product may be good if you can get it to work.
Rating: Summary: Decent joystick, software lacking Review: BOth this joystick and the software are very good, but very problematic. One time i was using my joystick, and i left for five minutes, and when i came back, the joystick was completely frozen and i needed to exchange for a new one. THis then happened again. When I tried to install on a different computer, the software does not work correctly. This is a good stick, but I wish I had just gone with a different one. Good design, poor execution.
Rating: Summary: Best Joystick I'VE ever tried! Review: For someone who doesn't use or really usually like Joysticks (me), I really thought this was a great stick! It's comfertable, easy to use, with LOT'S of buttons, meaning you won't have to switch between the Stick and the Keyboard.Excellent joystick, although I don't own it.

Rating: Summary: Saitek 3D Gold USB Joystick Review: I am very happy with this joystick. It installed without any problems. Although I don't really care for the software game extensions. Anyway I have used this joystick with Star Wars Rogue Squadron 3D, Star Wars Episode 1 Racers (the pod racing), and Star Wars Battle for Naboo. In each case my scores inproved over those I could obtain with a Sidewinder pro force feedback stick. I thiink the USB connection has alot to do with the better response speed. I found the Saitek 3D Gold comfortable and very precise after calibration. I just ordered a second one. Amazon has it (...)! This is a bargin I highly recommend this deal. My system is a P4 1.5 ghz 128mb ram 32 mb video card. It lets me play the games fast and furious. I am not that great at games but this joystick has helped me play much better. I have far more 1st place wins with the pod racers than I though possible for me as well as more gold medals in Rogue Squadron 3D. I also recommend these games.
Rating: Summary: Buy it and buy another one in case Review: I have gone through 2 saitek gold joysticks in the past 8 months. I have found that the trigger and the buttons on the handle have a very bad habit of sticking and will not release.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Joystick from Saitek!! Review: I have had this joystick for over 5 months and it's one of the best joystick I have ever had. If you are a fanatic of Flight Simulators, or any other game which can be used with a joystick; then I really recommend buying this one. For the price is cheap and the features and precision are incredible. I have given this product 5 stars due to the design, comfortable handling, it has many buttons programmable and its precision. If you go an look for other joysticks, you will find that Saitek has the best ones. Read the reviews and you will find out!
Rating: Summary: Saitek JI3G Cyborg 3D Gold :Worked great for about 1 month Review: I have owned the 3D Gold for about 6 months, For the first month it worked great. The feel was nice and the Allen key adjustments are a nice feature. However after a month the buttons started failing and wouldnt map. Making it impossible to use. I reinstalled the drivers and tried it on another PC just to be sure. I tried to return it to compusa but they wouldnt take it back. They said to return it to Saitek directly. I called Saitek and we went through some tests and the customer service rep said that something was wrong with it. (No Kidding Jack). He said to ship it to them which means i am without a controller for however long. After the cost to ship it and the time involved I decided it would be just better to buy another brand than go through all that hassle. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
Rating: Summary: The controls right at your fingertips - full adjustability Review: I haven't yet met Mr. Average. In fact, I don't believe he exists. No-one I know is average; we all kind of differ in one way or another. That's where Saitek's Cyborg scores: * 5-way palm-rest adjusts up and down for the width of your hand; * 2-axis hat/button platform nods and tilts so that is sits just so under your thumb * want to play left-handed? No problem, the clip-on Saitek tool-key unscrews the throttle handle and palm-rest; swap 'em round, then blast off. Result: you play better, faster, more accurately. The controls are just where your muscles, bones and tendons want them to be. The programming software is industry-leading too. Assign commands to just where you want them with drag-n-drop. Go for it.
