Review: Buyt this joystick! It's a good substitute for some more expensive joysticks and it works just like a standard joystick setting! 2 button 3 axis joystick and poof your done! this only problem is I found it overly sensitive and didn't have much range of motion in my opinon...I mean not all brand name joysticks need software! another downside though is the fact that it is only 2 buttons...not much in good flight sims but still this joystick is great for you buget buyers...another good one is the Wingamn attack by logitech.

Review: I was given this joystick from a friend and it works great!! True, it is a BASIC stick with no software, but all I did was plug it in, told the computer it was a two button with three axis, calibrated the stick by following the directions from XP and I was flying 5 minutes (3 was for the computer to reboot). I'm left handed so it is a pain to fly right handed or work the throttle across the front of the stick with my right hand and fly lefthanded.

Simple and easy to use, I'd definitely recommend this to those new to joystick-controlled games, or to anyone that just doesn't feel the need to spend a lot of money. Though there are some other low-priced joysticks out there that have more buttons on them, none will last as long as this one. So if it's durability and low cost you're after, look no further.

Review: if your smart you wont buy this joystick IT DOES NOT COME WITH THE LOADING SOFTWEAR AND YOU CANT DOWN LOAD THE SOFTWEAR FROM MICROSOFT BELIEVE ME I GOT THE RUN AROUND FROM 5 DIFFERANT TECH SUPPORT PEOPLE TO FIND THIS OUT. OH AND BY THE WAY AMAZON SHOULD LET PEOPLE KNOW IT DOESENT COME WITH THE SOFTWEAR.

Review: The other review for this product is incorect. The reason that it didn't come with software is because it doesn't need software. This joystick is a basic joystick. When you plug it in go to game controlers in your control panel and select a two button three axis joystick. The third axis is for the throttle, if you're playing a flying game that requires it. I've used this joystick for a number of Jane's flying games by EA and it works great. If I had more money I would buy the precision pro sidewinder, but this is a very adequate substitue.
