Summary: Good stuff
Review: I'm unsure why many of these people disliked this product, I found it to be excellent.

I have no trouble at all with the diagonals. I find the d-pad to be quite comfortable, and had no problems getting use to it.
The buttons are equally as good.

It doesn't have an anlog stick, which is a plus to me, since I find those things are inferior for everything but FPS.(which I rather use a mouse) And no rumble pack, again always seems to me a useless feature.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars, is because like it has been mentioned the screw in the middle is odd. While I found no discomfort at all about it. The screw was designed for a small joystick you can screw in(which is provided) personally I think this feature should of been left out, as it well.. sucks. If I wanted to use a joystick, I wouldn't have use this one.

But for the price, I think this is excellent.
These people who are saying that the d-pad sucks, are either flat out liars.
Or like someone else before me mentioned, just aren't skilled gamers.

Buy this if you want a PS-clone, you will not be disappointed, I promise ;)

Summary: Excellent!
Review: If you play console-like games on your PC, this is a must have. There may be more expensive and perhaps even better gamepads out there, but this has done the job for me for almost THREE YEARS and I've never had a problem with it. There aren't very many products at such a low cost one can say that about these days.

This is very much like the Playstation/PS2 controller. There are no analog sticks, but I hate those things anyway, so perhaps if you're still a digital thumbpad kinda person (like me), this may be all you really need to play most PC games while hardly touching the keyboard. It's a bit small and basic, but it does the job and is obviously very well made. Though I don't usually throw game controllers around in the heat and fun of playing video games, I have dropped this many times, and haven't really been easy on it, and it's still working as perfectly as the day I bought and installed it.

Installation is easy-peasy, and this works not only on most PC games (Flight Simulator 98, X-Wing, Rogue Squadron, Need For Speed series, Midtown Madness, NFL Fever 2000, NHL2001, and probably 100 more I don't own), but it works GREAT with nes and snes emulators and games, and psone emulated games as well. If you really need analog sticks, there are other gamepads you should look into, but if not, this is the pc equivalent of what most people are using to play PS2 games.

This is a great gamepad. Sooner or later in any PC gamer's life, if they've been trying to play with the mouse and keyboard alone, they will think of buying a joystick or gamepad. This is the one I bought long ago, and I'd pay double what they're asking now if mine ever broke. A basic, but very rugged and functional gamepad. A bargain at twice its price. Get one!

Summary: Kensington Gamepad Pro (USB)
Review: In my opinion this is a perfect gamepad. Well suited for emulators especially ZNES it has usable buttons for each of the buttons you would find on a super-nintendo control pad. If you are an avid user of emulators and your tired of using your keyboard to operate your games I would highly recommend this control pad.

Summary: Gravis is one of the leading companies in controllers.
Review: It's great. Works perfectly but there could be a few ways to improve it. The four buttons on the right aren't numbered and it would be so much helpful if one button would be in the back of the controller like N64's. When you play a game like NBA Live 2000, it comes in handy when you use turbo.

Summary: Gamepad Pro K-42111
Review: It's setup is perfect because of the similarity to the Play Station controller. On the other hand, it is lacking in quality. It pooped out on me after about a month or two of usage. I will give Gravis some room, it may be an isolated incident and I intent to try their newer model in hopes that it is put together better.

Summary: judged wrong
Review: My initial review of this gamepad was poor, but upon further investigation, it has turned out to be an excellent pad. It just so happened that it was'nt very compatible with my compaq notebook, but works great with my desktop. The button and directional pad coordination and feel is actually pretty smooth. I now give it 5 stars.

Summary: One very annoying flaw: the D-Pad!
Review: Response is okay - if a bit slow - but the directional pad is not very stable at all (very noticable in puzzle games like Tetris or Dr. Mario, even brought up problems in some platform games) and so control is shaky. I will be returning mine shortly in order to try out something different, this is just aggravating me.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Works great on my Mac.
Review: Sure it's no PS2 controller, but all the buttons work fine and I have no problems at all with the D-pad. Some say they can only go diagonally, but I have no problems going straight. Maybe I'm just really skilled. So if you're really skilled too, then this controller is your ticket, cheap and good.
