Summary: one of the best
Review: ive played with tons of different controllers, and well this is one of the best in my opinion. though i like my gamecube one better this comes in at a strong 2nd, feel of it is great, the controls are great. ive owned about 3 of them due to my bad temper.

Summary: Everything is well until the left analog starts to act weird
Review: Just like what everybody is saying, but it doesn't seem that severe to me though. Played NFS: Underground and Prince of Persia with it, when you constantly move the analog button, you won't feel any difference. It is only when you let go off the button and suddenly your guy started to walk by itself! Pity pity, it could be the perfect gamepad out there that resembles PlayStation gamepad...

Summary: Mixed bag
Review: On the plus side: The controller is very comfortable, the button layout is familiar and versatile, and the analog control is very good... at first.

On the down side: The directional pad tends to go diagonally if not pressed exactly right, and the analog sticks wear out very quickly, becoming jittery and losing chunks of their field of movement sporadically during use. Also, the profiler software kills the use of my other gamepad when it is booted up.

All in all, this is what could be a flawless pad - except for a couple of flaws, one of them major.

Logitech is apparently working on a version with more viable analog sticks, and these should be available by april 2004.

Summary: Dunno about the analog stick yet, but...
Review: The directional pad simply sucks. I've only had it for a day, and despite the overally comfort and setup ease of this controller, the directional pad is another one of those "nearly impossible to just hold up without going diagonal as well" pads. You push up, and 95% of the time you will either be going up+right or up+left, and ditto for all other directions, down, left or right.... its the most frustrating thing in the world, ever try playing a game like Silent Hill on one of these controllers? Its a nightmare (no pun intended)

Summary: What a piece of junk!
Review: This controller doesn't stay calibrated for longer than a few seconds before going kaput, and the digital controls don't work for anything requiring holding them or rapid action.

Summary: DO NOT BUY IT! BEWARE LEFT ANALOG!
Review: This controller is good for games that dont require use of the left analog stick. This analog stick broke like in 3 days. Logitech made a fortune out of us that bought they're controller. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF BUYING THIS CONTROLLER

Summary: Great gamepad - Horrible Durability
Review: This gamepad is great - if it worked.

Just like ALL OF THE OTHER REVIEWERS have described, my Left Analog stick is no longer functioning properly. It will not respond when moving it to the right. I have only had the controller for about 2+ weeks, and I am far from a heavy gamepad user.

These controllers should obviously be recalled.

Summary: Can't perform - by a hardcore gamer
Review: This gamepad seemed fine out of the box. Initially I didn't have any complaints, except that the 4-directional button would stick. I decided that this would be something I could live with, and didn't return it. This is an ongoing problem that causes mild annoyance. However, as the months progressed this product continued to deteriorate.

The analog sticks are made of an inferior material that will wear down.

Recently I've been experiencing partial gamepad failure, where I can not control movement in certain directions, or it will fail to respond completely as though I had unplugged it. In these situations I have to quit then restart the game completely in order to get proper response out of it. This has been happening with greater frequency, and I am forced find another pad.

I do not recommend this unless you want to waste your money for its short-term use. I play FFXI so I put the product through a lot, but needless to say the problems are inevitable, given a bit of time.

Summary: Very Nice
Review: This is a very nice controller. The buttons are the same as on a Playstation 2 controller. It has 2 analog joysticks that are very nice with rubber grips. It feels solid and comfortable, and has a comfortable weight. The buttons are very nice also. They require little force to press, and give a soft 'snap' feel when pressed. They do not have any noise, and each has a number from 1 to 12. The software is very nice, and will make it work with games that do not use controllers. It allows you to make buttons correspond to mouse and keyboard keys. For example, you could make button 1 act as a Enter key and button 2 act as the space key. You can use all the keys on a keyboard and mouse and you can even make a single button do more than one thing. You can make a joystick move the mouse cursor around, too. Overall, this is the best controller you can get for the price!

Summary: Avoid this gamepad like the plague.
Review: This is a very poorly made product. I have had to have it replaced 3 times (in 2 months). After a week or two of casual gameplay, the movement detection on the left analog stick gets all crazy - my character will gitter and move spontaneously all on his own. Needless to say, this can be frustrating. I do not reccomend purchasing this gamepad.
