Summary: Defective Product
Review: As mentioned the left analog stick is horribly defective. It will send input when centered, not send input when moved, lose it's calibration, whatever you want to call it, but in short, you lose all control of your game. Probably the right stick does it too, but I don't use it for movement so I wouldn't notice.

I returned mine 3 times, so I tested 4 controllers. ALL were defective in the exact same way. My old faithful Wingman Rumblepad works flawlessly.

I have been waiting now for 3 weeks on an RMA replacement from Logitech. They claim "The product is out of stock, and will be shipped as soon as possible". So, in 3 weeks Logitech themselves are unable to obtain their own gamepads? I suspect they are waiting for a new version with the defects remedied.

IF...IF they fix the analog sticks, this would be an excellent gamepad. IF! At this point though, how would a new customer know which one they were getting, the new non-defective version (if it exists), or the same old defective ones from a stockpile in some warehouse?

Summary: Unlucky Customers???
Review: Based on my experience with the logitech dual action game pad, i've had absolutely no problems. i'm guessing that these other customers only had problems because of their computer of maybe they got a defected controller. i currently have windows xp and right after plugging in the controller into a usb port, the controller was instant recognized! i didn't even have to config it! there was a cd that came with the product, however, that was only used to install the program that could customize the controls to be used in games. as for the life of this controller, i have had it for almost 7 months and this is still working great! no big problems have come up with the controller at all! at worst, most of the problems can be fixed by simply unplugging and replugging in the controller. take my word for and consider buying this controller, its great!

Summary: 2 stars because I like the design
Review: Do not buy this pad. I had the same issue the other person wrote.. The left analog stick goes crazy after 15 minutes of playing. The Wingman Action pad also had this problem. Can anyone at Logitech fix this?? I'm definitely not buying the logitech pad the next ime.

Summary: Very bad choice
Review: Horrible choice for gamepad, controllers go nutty in any game... nothing can be done to fix it.. pure $19.99 crap.

Summary: Bad product - Lost all respect for Logitech
Review: I bought 2 and both have the same major problem. Both have the analog stick calibration drift problem, which is widespread and well-documented online (check out the logitech web site user forums). Unfortunately, Logitech is totally ignoring the problem despite a tremendous amount of complaints (presumably because it is a unpatchable hardware problem). I am also upset with EA for endorsing it for MVP Baseball 2004. I replaced it with the comparable Saitek P880, which has worked well for me so far.

Summary: left analog stick is generally wrong
Review: I bought in December this gamepad and after two days the left analog stick went wrong. Since this stick has a basic role during gaming if it is not working, the whole gamepad is useless. Then I read that everybody has the same problem with this gamepad. Otherwise this gamepad has the best button layout, the installing sofware is very good, so I am really sorry the poor quality analog stick.

Summary: May Or May Not Be Great
Review: I bought one of these because of its PS2 like design. I've read the other reviews and I agree to some extent with most of them. This Game Pad plays great at first then it develops some problems, although I dropped mine about 3 times I'm not sure if the times I dropped it caused the problems or were merely an excuse for the problems. If you belive ZeroSky (and I do) then buy one and if you get any problems write a review. I'm surely going to buy another. By the way, all those guys with the rating at 2 or below 2, they should see where THEY went wrong and not blame the Game Pad
P.S. Buy it, its a great Game Pad but it may or may not let you down.

Summary: Initally Great , but months later its JUNK!
Review: I bought this controller because the others at the store looked too bulky and cheeezy, but this one had a great look and was the best emulation of the Playstation 2 controller. Initially it worked great, I loved it as I played Need For Speed Underground 1 & 2. It was about 4 or 5 months later when I noticed some calibration issues that would come n go. Soonafter the left analog joystick wouldnt move left or right. Sometimes it wouldnt move to the right and then randomly fix itself. So I went online and downloaded the latest drivers and looked for support at the Logitech site. I did everything they suggested and the left stick is still basically dead. Then i checked the properties of the gamepad, sure enough the left analog stick was stuck more to the left and would only go right as far as the midpoint. Calibration sux, I woudlnt buy this controller because I noticed that too many ppl had this unrepairable same problem. Look around for reviews of other controllers before purchasing...looks can be deceiving!

Summary: Another Broken Unit
Review: I bought this item before reading these reviews but wish I had read them first. The controller is terrific except for the "minor" detail that the left stick went out after a couple of weeks. First I noticed a slight drift and now it completely freezes during game play on a regular basis. Sure you can fix it; exit the game, unplug and replug the device, and restart the computer. However, as I don't consider this a benefit I'll be returning today and finding another product.
