Summary: Kudos to Logitech
Review: Absolutely flawless controller, and a significant improvement over Logitech's previous version of the PS2 controller -- this version is lighter, smaller, uses half the batteries, and features a much better design for both the controller and receiver. It may be too soon to talk about durability, but I've been using mine happily for almost 4 months of heavy play now and the buttons still feel as responsive and springy as ever.

The only way I could think of improving on it now is if it beeped when you clapped so you could find it when it's lost behind the couch.

Do not hesitate! This is an outstanding product by an excellent hardware manufacturer.

Summary: Nice controller, better than the original?
Review: After watching the cordless controller market go from horrible to (seemingly) good, I decided to take the plunge, and ordered the logitech. I'm glad I did. To be honest, even if it was corded, I'd still like it better than the original PS2 controller. It's heavier, more solid, and fits better into my hands. Plus the matte finish, as noted by others, helps avoid the sweaty-controller syndrome. The controller has shown no lag whatsoever, even during fits of button mashing. I guess the only downside is that I can't grab the cord and repeatedly slam the controller into the sofa when I miss a putt in Tiger...

Summary: Great Controller... But has some faults
Review: As a semi serious gamer and an owner of a couple cats I really opted for the wireless controller. When I went to go buy them I saw that logitech made one. Of course knowing about logitech's reputation I immediately just grabbed them right of the shelf.

As for the controller, it's great the response is great, and the battery life is really unbelievable. If you get a couple rechargable AA's you're set. When the batteries do get a little low there is a little frustration, cause there's no way to kno, it would have been nice to have some kind of warning light or something. The only indication is that the controls get kind of tricky, so if you're in a middle of a game and about to kill the end guy, it really can goof things up. But in the grand scheme of things that's a really small draw back.

The biggest problem I've had and I don't know if I just got a couple lemons or it's something I did. But I've gone through a couple pairs of these. Once my girlfriend spilled coffee on it so that wasn't the manufacture's fault, but after that it was just normal wear and tear. There is a bonus that they have a one year warrenty on them so make sure whoever you order or buy them from you can take them back.

Even with the drawbacks and the fragility of the controllers I would never go back to the corded. The feel and convience outway a lot of the cost.

Summary: Best wireless controller EVER. Heck, best PS2 controller.
Review: Buy this.

I guess I should elaborate since I do have 1000 words to work with, but the basic point is this controller is awesome. If you're like many people and wanted a wireless controller for your PS2 but were scared of the brick and a half sized previous Logitech controller, fear not. This is the smaller, cheaper, and better little brother of the monster wireless.

It's VERY comfortable. I'd almost say I enjoy it more than the original. While it's basically identical in size, I prefer the curves a bit more to the PS2's original harder angles. If you have some kind of silly infatuation with the Dual Shock though, it's not like you will be let down, it's a very small deviation from the standard.

And for the first time that I've experienced with a third party controller, this thing doesn't feel like plastic you'd find in most dollar-store products. It's sturdy, has weight, and the sticks and buttons feel awesome. Sticks are SLIGHTLY less rigid than the DS2, but they're more firm than the DS1 if that helps.

After 2 weeks my batteries with rumble are still working just fine, so it's not like after 10 hours this thing's asking for more juice.

Just buy this thing already, you shouldn't even be reading this far. It's the best wireless controller EVER. Yes, even better than the Wavebird since they didn't skimp on the two-way transmission - meaning this controller has rumble (don't buy Nintendo's BS about battery life, they just made it transmit one-way). Rumble is good, it passed the rez test.

D-pad is kinda disc shaped but strangely it works VERY well. If the original DS2 D-pad was 100, I'd give this in the 90s easily, which is about 50 points higher than any other 3rd party D-pad.

Like most of logitech's products, it's even licensed by Sony. But that's sony, they're followers, not leaders, though we never should've been without good wireless for this long.

Summary: Best Thing Since Sinced Bread!
Review: I just picked up one of these bad boys today after beating the crap out of my old PS2 controller (literally). After that all I had left was some really cheap Dual Impact 2 controller that was literally a huge piece of junk, i would have would have to push buttons 2 sometimes three times to get anything and plus it was uncomfortably bulky. Well I started researching on the internet for wireless controllers, figuring it was probably time to upgrade, I was a little wary of buying any 3rd party products or cheap controllers, because with this sort of stuff you literally do "get what you pay for".

Anyways I heard some good reviews on this Logitech wireless controller and figured I would give it a shot, I have a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse for my PC and enjoy them so figured they make pretty good stuff, plus I discovered that this is actually an official Playstation licensed product so it has their stamp of approval and even says Playstation on the controller. Let me tell you, it was probably the best $30-$40 bucks I have ever spent, this thing is amazing, it beats the crap out the orginal Dual Shock 2 by Sony in every since! Now I have only had it for one day but I love this thing. I feels better than the Dual Shock the buttons push better, the triggers feel better, the sticks move and feel better and the rumble is better! This thing just rocks! You can use it up to 30 feet, and you can save battery power by turning the rumble off from the controller.

A few reviewers complain about the D-pad, and what not I have no compaint, it is different than the Dual Shock but I like it I think it works just as well if not better. So my advice is go out and buy one of these, I'm going to get another someday soon for when I have people over so they don't have to use my other crappy one. Plus if your like me and every once in a while you get the urge to propel your controller into the air or againt solid objects you will think twice because this is a nice controller and cost you a little bit of cash. So trust me once you go wireless you'll wonder how you ever got along with what you had before.

Summary: Great controller.
Review: I purchased this PS2 controller to use for my PC games. Using a ps2-usb adaptor, this controller is great! No lag, great response. Ergnomically, the controller has a super feel to it, similar to the Microsoft sidewinder gamepad. I've used gravis & microsoft game pads, and this one tops them all.

Summary: Excellent Wireless Controller
Review: I've had a couple of wireless controllers in the past - from pelican. The Logitech wireless controllers are light years ahead of those that I've used previously. The analog acurracy is exactly what is required by gamers and doesn't leave you frustrated from inputs that you did not intend. Also the d-pad is great. You will not be disappointed with this item. Also it does not interfer with my 802.11b wireless network.

Summary: Fantastic!!
Review: One thing I always hated about game consoles was the constant tripping over tangled wires. Wires intersecting each other, making a mess of things.

Enter the Logitech Cordless Action Controller!! This is without a doubt one of the best controllers I've ever used! The controllers is very well made. The feel of it is very natural in your hands, though slightly different than the original PS2 Dual Shock. There's a nice satin like finish that prevents alot of dirt from your hands from making the controller too slippery. There is literally no notciable lag or delay in the controller's operation. The controllers 2.4 ghz signal ensures that you won't miss any of the action. Every function of the original is reproduced faithfully. Installation is extremely simple. Plug the reciever into your PS2's controller port and simpley press the action button to get a signal. There is also a button on the reciever to make the connection if needed. The battery life (the controller takes two AA batterys) is approximatley 300 hours without the vibration mode and 50 hours with the vibration mode on. A small sacrifice to make for a great product such as this.

I really can't say enough good things about this product. It's great if you have small children in the house especially. No more worrying if they are going to trip and drag the console across the room. In fact this is such a great controller I'm considering buying a second!

Summary: VERY nice.
Review: Sure, a little pricey, but worth it. I did some online review hunting and this seemed to be the one to get. Was a little tricky finding it through Amazon's search, not sure why. It's great. Feels nice, substantial but not heavy, buttons don't feel cheap or gimmicky. I'll never go with a cable laden controller again. Never drops out, connection solid. No problems. Battery life is pretty sweet too.
