Rating: Summary: Great speaker system with a few flaws. Review: I rushed to purchase the DTT3500 when it came out in order to put together a PC entertainment system. While the overall sound quality of the DTT3500 is phenomenal for a PC speaker system, it doesn't match a set of high quality stereo system. Since I use them predominantly for playing a wide range of music (from classical to trance) and not games or DVDs, I was almost disappointed. The DTT3500 Theater really shines when you are playing games, and it brings gaming to a whole new level. Imagine hearing someone coughing behind you, or hearing shooting in the distance over your left shoulder. That is what it can be like. Sound quality is great, but it misses some midrange. The subwolfer covers the lower end of the audio spectrum, while the center and satellite speakers are tweaters. It just doesn't sound totally complete when playing a variety of music. Also, volume is another area I found lacking. The satellites don't always push enough volume, so I have to turn down the subwolfer to balance it out. On the plus side, the music is clear, crisp, and distortion free. Even with the downsides, I would still recommend it (especially since the price has dropped).

Rating: Summary: These speakers will blow your mind Review: If someone complains about these speakers then they don't have them hooked up correctly. Period! I placed them at the 4 corners of my bedroom (yes I had to buy all new wires, not enough to do properly), and DVD and TV sound is awesome. I have a SB LIVE 5.1 sound card and output the speakers digitally (1 RCA wire). I also recently bought a 24" SONY WEGA flat screen TV with optional sound out, this feature allows you to wire your TV directly into your 5.1 sound system with just a dual RCA to single stereo out jack. Awesome, absoultely blows the TV sound system away. These speakers go extremely loud without any distortion at all. Once mounted on the walls they free up all the space your old speakers took up. There are many configurations that you can use these speakers with. I hook my Dreamcast system to the TV and also have surround sound. They are very cool and small and don't get in the way. I highly recommend this product, save your money over the Kplisch. Properly setup these speakers RULE!!
Rating: Summary: Good System. Review: If you're ready for big booms and bangs, this is the system for you. It connects to PC, DVD players & PS2. The reason i give this 4 stars is that in order to enjoy the full 5.1 sytem on PC, i have to Creative PC-DVD using WinDVD. The sound system is very good and impressive. Must buy for those who are in booms and bangs.
Rating: Summary: These are Horrible Review: These are the worst computer speakers on the market. When turned up, not even high, these speakers sound like a tin garbage can being smashed against a brick wall. I fyou buy these you would have to be completely idiotic. Smelling my old dirty sicks is more fun than listening to these. The DTT3500s are really lousy speakers, not only for the price, but overall.

Rating: Summary: These are Horrible Review: These may be the worst computer speakers that I have ever heard. Do not listen to the other reviewers or anyone else when they tell yoy that these speakers are good. I recently purchased them for my home office. I used them with my soundblaster Live 5.1 platinum sound card and they still sounded like a metal garbage can being smashed against a brick wall. Ouch! My ears hurt having to withstand the tinny, horrible sound that these made. Do not waste your money or anyone elses buying theses.
