Summary: Pretty great
Review: I'm not sure what the bad reviews are all about. I bought this for my sister and decided to try it out before I gave it to her. Right now they're setup in my living room and I don't want to give them up. I don't have home theatre because my room is too small for a "real" home theatre system, but this system was awesome.

The reviews that say it won't play deep bass aren't accurate. Maybe they've imporved the system since those reviews, but I sat in my living room with a sound level meter and ran through some test tones. From 200Hz down to 30Hz the meter registered 70db absolutely flat down to 30Hz and the volume trailed off between 30Hz and 25Hz or so. It was amazing to see the meter reading unchanged through the crossover and remain steady even though my ears could no longer hear it. I watched a couple of movies this weekend and the system had my floor and couch vibrating exactly the way it should have.

I used the system to play movies in Dolby Pro Logic II using the stereo analog inputs and Dolby Digital using the TOSLINK hookup. Both performed incredibly. It's like going from a mono TV with the speaker on one side to a stereo TV.

The downside to this system is that I have wires strung all around my living room which I couldn't live with in perpetuity. In truth though, this is NOT home theatre system, that's just the way I chose to test it out. It's designed to be placed around you on the floor when you play games and be cleaned up when you're done.

Summary: Klipsch and Klipsch
Review: My primary home theater speakers (LF, C, LR and SW) are all Klipsch products. They have performed so well, I went nuts when I heard the GMX D-5.1 DCS. I may not have the ear of an audiophile, but I can hear the difference between the accurate sound reproduction of the GMX D-5.1 DCS and do-do. Their digital reproduction is great. Connection to my SB Audigy was a trip when I used the digital signal outputs with an analog source! Turn it down!!! A five would have been my rating except for the somewhat confusing setup process and a limited speaker output configuration. But don't get me wrong, a Klipsch speaker has no equal!

Summary: Limited inputs make for bad computer choice
Review: The limited inputs for this speaker set means that any computer user with a Creative sound card (and that's most of us) is going to be stuck listening to stereo output. In which case your 5.1 just became a 2.1.

Claiming these to be computer speakers is nothing short of irresponsible. These speakers are fine for the console market, or digital connectivity to certain TVs and DVD players via coax or optic cabling. But judged as computer speakers they are an enormous disappointment.

Summary: Well worth it!
Review: These speakers are awsome. I just got them, and am very glad I chose this set. Its a steal! Only $146 for this 5.1 system. They sound very crisp and clear. I would highly reccomend these to anyone wanting a sweet in-room surround sound system.

Summary: Sleek Speakers, Crystal Clear!
Review: These speakers look way better than the competing logitech 5.1 systems. Although Logitech may claim higher power and wattage rating, the differences are minor. These speakers are powerful, clear and the bass is exceptional! Asthetics and specifications combined sold it for me!

Summary: Rockin' Speakers!!
Review: These speakers sound absolutely fantastic! The highs are crisp, and the bass is solid. I use these for my Xbox, and they greatly enhance the gaming experience. These double for home theater speakers when I play DVDs through the Xbox. You can also use these on a PC.

These aren't for everyone. They seem to be designed mainly for video game consoles, and hence don't have analog 5.1 inputs. (You get stereo RCA inputs, optical Toslink digital input, and RCA coax digital input.) One other minor complaint, the control center takes a large footprint.

I still rate these a 5. They are a great investment.

Summary: Great System
Review: This is my first surround sound system and I have to say that I am blown away. I mostly use them with my Xbox. If you don't use these with your Xbox (or other console with an optical output) you're truly missing out. In order to connect these to a PC, you will need a sound card with an optical out so you can get surround sound (Dolby Digital) from the PC.

You can also use these with a DVD player and again, you probably won't find a system with clearer, more vibrant sound than this.

Summary: WOW!!
Review: This speakers are the king of all speakers. They sound wonderful and they look even better. When I first saw this speakers I started drooling. They handle bass very well, and at 30 volume my room pictures started to rattle. The only thing I didn't really like about it, was I didn't really have a spot to put the controls, even though that looked really cool also I was having trouble trying to find a place for it, because it is soo big. But with that being my only dislike about them, these are the best speakers I have ever heard or seen.
