HARDCORE POWERED MULTIMEDIA

Summary: Great sound but terminally flawed.
Review: I love these speakers. They made everything I put through them sound huge but clear. Had some indie tunes pouring through them at about half-volume and then they died. Two sets died within 24 hours both after being played relatively hard but nothing which should kill a product labelled "hardcore multimedia". Stopped. Dead. I called EV/Telex and they informed me that they are redesigning the set up to address this issue. In other words....wait for EV's next try at least with the 4.1's.
