Summary: A true feast for the ears. Pinnacle of PC Audio
Review: The ADA-305 powercube speaker ensemble shipped with my new computer, and I must say, I was completley blown away by the sound. I use them in conjunction with a Soundblaster Live! and I have never in my life heard better audio from PC speakers. It really isn't even fair to call them PC speakers, since they sound just as good as my AIWA reciever that I have in my living room. The bass is unbelievable, and the range goes from quiet to LOUD. The speakers emulate a 3d sound from only two towers, and the surround effect must be heard to be believed.

Summary: Outstanding -- no problems with Creative Live
Review: The software that comes with these speakers is useful, but when used with Creative Labs SoundBlaster Live, these speakers are nothing short of spectacular. The sound environments produced by the Blaster are better than I've heard on any stereo, and the Blaster really takes advantage of the 3-speaker setup. While limited by their size, the aural quality they produce left me stunned. Contrary to what another reviewer said, I had no problem at all using either the provided software or the SB software to control the speakers. The USB is a nice feature and does not get in the way at all. I'm an old stereo buff, and I recommend these speakers highly. It's quite a system for the money.

Review: The software that controls speaker settings via USB sometimes crashes on me, but this is not a big deal since the speakers are AWESOME. The base is wonderful, it produces clear deep sounds. There is none of that REALLY annoying hissing sound that some speakers have when the volume goes up too high. In general, if you want good speakers at a great price, this is it.

Summary: Best coumputer speakers I've ever herd
Review: These speakers are great. There evean beter with 3-D sound. There also great for listinging to all kinds of music. I only whish it did'nt have an electrontc volume control. The electronic control is easy to use, but I would find a seprate analog control for the subwoffer, 3-D sound, and center channel sound easer to use than the single electrontc multi function control, which can control each sound sepertaly, but is a little inconvienent. Appart from that these speakers give great sound.

Summary: Awesome Sound in a Small Package
Review: These speakers, used with the Sound Blaster Live 5.1 sound card are nothing less than spectacular! MP3 quality can truly be measured with the ADA-305's. For the money, I would challenge anyone to top this system. If you're an old 100watt/channel stereo audiophile, it's time to upgrade. Trust me, you WILL be blown away! Altec Lansing is to be commended for taking PC sound to the next level.

Summary: These speakers are good. VERY good.
Review: Well, where to start. How about good, good, good?These speakers are small, refined, clear, powerful and clever. Ample bass - powerful enough to shake my room - (it's a old victorian house with 3" think walls!), smooth midrange (that doesn't get drowned out like in some other small speakers) and sweet treble. If you like Hi-Fi you'll love these speakers for your computer, and with there auto-detect dolby digital switching they're perfect for films too! I watched blue streak with them and was impressed at the bass levels, stereo and front-rear seperation. BUY THEM! oh, and they beat the pants off the cambridge soundworks package, and the labtec speakers also, they dont drop to pieces!
