Summary: Pffff!
Review: Actually these don't put out that much bass, Sadly not enough to rock the house or my walls..I gave it 4 stars because these sound great, Very clear indeed! Im just mad at all these reviews that says "Oh, this has too much bass"...If you turn the bass up, the sub sounds like its falling apart..If i had the chance to hear these first, i wouldn't have got them..If you're looking for something with real bass, you should save your money and buy something better then this..

Summary: a great deal for the price.
Review: For 30 bucks (mine had a 20 dollar mail-in rebate when I got it from Best Buy), this is a great deal. I was surprised by the volume and clarity of it for such a small system. The bass is very strong, but you may notice less treble than you are used to when you listen to it. If you add another pair of speakers with the treble up into the source it'll sound fine. And if the desktop speakers are slightly loose you will a notice that they crackle. But if you keep them plugged in tightly there is no problem. They also produce no hum at all which is a pleasant surprise. So all in all a good deal for the price.

Summary: Great Price + Great Quality = GREAT SPEAKERS
Review: I bought these speakers for my laptop, because as I'm sure you know, the speakers on laptops are terrible. I started looking for speakers online and was overwhelmed by the selection. I wasn't sure what I was looking for, other then reasonably priced, good speakers. I finally came to purchasing these, and they are amazing. I got these for [money amount]with free shipping, and was really surprised by the sound quality. Compared to a [money maount]+ set of speakers, I definitely would chose these and the [money amount]in savings. Overall, these are just what I wanted - great quality, great price.

Summary: It sounds fairly good for the price.
Review: I bought this a few weeks ago from a computer shop. It is a very low cost good performance speaker.
When I was about to buy this speaker, I was able to test it using a pc with an audigy soundcard. It sounded great, I wasn't really able to test it at very high volume. I didn't notice that the bass becomes distorted at high levels until I brought it to my apartment where I was able to play it loud enough. At first I was disappointed because the bass didn't sound as good as my creative sbs370 which has a very smooth tight bass. But after a few weeks of long hours of use, I've learned that I can get the best effect when setting the bass level at only 20%, pointing to the second dot in the bass volume knob. At this level, the bass is sufficient enough to fill a moderately sized room at high volume level, and a small room at a mid volume level. But if you're going to use it with your dvd player, you can try increasing the bass level a bit further. I think this speaker is a great deal for its price. But if you want a really good sounding speaker without any compromise, you should spend more and get the kinds of altec 621, or megaworks, or klipsch promedia. Though they are a quite more pricey, they really sound awesome.

Summary: If you want high-end sound for the low end price.. buy this
Review: I first got a chance to listen to these speakers at a friends place, and as soon as i heard them i was practically sold. i just couldnt resist asking questions about it, where he got it from, how much. I was under the impression that my car had a good stereo in it, and that my home stereo sounded great. Well let me tell you that this thing sounds better than practically all those mini hifi stereo systems out there.. which happen to be both bulkier and way more expensive.

These speakers give out the perfect sound.. the equivalent of listening to music on very high quality headphones.. i mean.. you can hear EVERYTHING on these. No hum or background noise, easy to set up, and i have no idea what the previous reviewer was on about when they mentioned they had problems with instalation and their sound card.. what is that about?!?!? all you have to do is simply plug this thing into the line out of your computer.. simple as that.

The woofer box has a knob on the back (not visible from the front) that lets you adjust the about of 'bass' you want.. i have found.. that for the best effect.. it's best to have this turned to 3/4, otherwise there is TOO much bass (and yes there is such a thing) If you turn it to max.. make sure the unit is not playing very loud otherwise you will hear some small noises coming from the woofer. Basically.. have the bass on 3/4 (more than enough) and turn the thing up as loud as you want.. it will sound absolutely fantastic. i bought this thing as soon as i saw it in the shops.. its excellent, and for this price.. it's a dream come true.

When this thing is playing in your bedroom.. walk out of the room and you'll swear the sound is coming from a huge stereo with huge speakers. Walk back in.. and marvel at the fact that all you can see is 2 tiny little speakers next to your monitor and nothing else (the woofer goes underneath your desk) Pumping thumping bass.

Summary: Value for money
Review: I got one for about Rs. 2400 from Compuage Infocomm. I read a lot of reviews about it and finally choose it over the SBS-370. First thing one notice is that the bass is really deep. The frequency response is better than other 2.1 speakers. Also the woofer are of good quality and they can last long. The design of speakers was very attractive and the build quality is good. The loudness is too much and max volume should never be turned on.
Otherwise, a good speaker set to be coupled with your inbuilt AC'97 Audio.

Summary: No Headphone Jack!!!
Review: I've had these for about one month and I can say I'm very happy.
They sound crisp & clear and the adjustable bass on the subwoofer is a nice touch.
My only complaint, and reason for writing this review, is you warn you that there is no Headphone jack anywhere on these speakers. Luckily most computers come with their own Headphone out jacks, but that still doesn't make up for the Creative lack of extra outputs.

Summary: Wow!
Review: I've never had anything other than the lowest of low speakers on my computer ($10) and my pets broke the last set. I "splurged" on this inexpensive/midlevel set because I'm familiar and satisfied with the Creative brand. Well, I have to say WOW! I plugged these in and set volume and bass on medium and blew the door off my office when I played a song! It sounds like I hooked up a great stereo by the sound. I'm so impressed. Also, as a bonus, the shipping was so fast and I'm nothing but thrilled!
