Summary: Just Great
Review: These speakers sound Awesome! They are really clear and give great sound even with your Mp3's. The remote is really nice and the bass is just enough for nice music thats makes those laptop speakers cringe.

They look PHAT too. Nothing wrong for the price too! best for the price - and setup takes about 10 minutes

Summary: Tinny Sound
Review: These speakers sound like crap. I have a pair of old $12.00 Kenyo's that sound better. Do yourself a favor and spend a nother $40.00 and buy the Klipsch and get some REAL speakers!! Almost any of the lower end 2.1's will sound as good if not better than these.

Summary: A fine product
Review: These speakers were just what I was looking for. Easy to hook up and use; great looking; compact; and decent sound. Also, I find the ability to hook in headphones (which automatically turns off the speakers) to be quite handy. IMO, the sound quality is slightly less than what you find with established speaker companies; however, my guess is that it is fine for anyone looking in the 2.1 category. I have listened to lots of music through them and have no complaints.

Summary: great sound...
Review: This 2/1 set has great, clear sound, even at low volumes. I use it in my office at work, connected to my iPod, and when I need to concentrate and dial down the volume, the speakers don't suffer from any muddiness, which is typical of lower-priced 2/1 subwoofer systems.

Also, I underestimated the usefulness of the wired remote. I was a bit skeptical at first, but the ability to dial the bass level without reaching under the desk and tweaking a bass control on the subwoofer is very, very convenient. And this alone puts these speakers a notch above the JBL monsoon thing-a-ma-bobs.

Summary: Great for Home Office
Review: This is a gerat little system if all you want is a decent set of speakers for listening to music. They aren't surround speakers so I wouldn't buy these as a gift for a "gamer." For music, they really do give a nice, well-rounded sound. The bass is fairy powerful, but this is easily managed with the remote volume and bass feature (I use this much more than I expected to adjust for different music types). I subscribe to Musicmatch Jukebox and playing the radio through these speakers sounds great. Beware of those who claim to be "audiophiles" and overanalyze these small systems. Having worked as a sound technician I can tell you that most of these guys have no idea what they're talking about. Follow this simple rule: if you like the way a system sounds, then don't let others convince you something more complicated (and expensive) is better.

Review: This is the first Creative Labs speaker system I've purchased. I am very pleased with their performance. A few of my friends have complimented their quality of sound and looks too. Hook-up is a snap and you just can't beat the price.
