Summary: Best fifty dollars I ever spent
Review: Run, don't walk, and buy the Labtec Pulse speakers now! I am continually amazed at the sound quality from these babies. For the price, you'll be blown away. The subwoofer is distortion free and produces taut, powerful bass. The power supply is contained in the subwoofer, so there's no big power brick to plug in. The fit and finish on all components is quite good, and the subwoofer even has a real wood enclosure.The satellites are excellent as well, and include a headphone jack, volume control, and power button. There's no treble or bass control, so you have to adjust them in software, and the subwoofer volume control is inconveniently located on the subwoofer itself. What are you waiting for? Buy them before Labtec decides this price is a typo!

Review: Speakers are good, quality of sound is good from low through high volume. Crystal clear sounds from low through high frequencies. Good choice for classical as well as rock music. Pandit Ravi Sankar's "Sitar" or Ustad Jakir Hussain's "Tabla" sounds so well, waao.....thanks Labtec

Review: These are great little speakers and the sub-woofer is a powerhouse. Unless you are trying to fill a very large room these are probably all you will need. They are very convenient also because of the headphone jack on the speaker which was important to anyone living in an apartment or sharing space with others.

Review: These are the best sounding sub-[price]speakers that I've ever heard! The bass is a bit heavy, but the sound quality is great. They also look cool, and can be turned up quite a bit without any distortion.

Review: these little speakers rock! the sub goes loud and way way low, the highs are sweet- the music is better than any other system I have heard yet. I would overwhelmingly recommend these speakers, wish they made them in white though.

Review: These speakers are great! I was a little skeptical when I was looking for speakers for my PC because I am used to listening to music on my $5000 car stereo, I couldn't believe that these little speakers were going to sound very good. I bought them because of the excellent price-when I hooked them up I couldn't beleive the rich deep bass out of the 8" sub and the excellent sound quality out of the satellites. GREAT BUY!!!!!

Review: This Labtec set amazed me. For (price), I did not expect the kind of quality I got. I compared this set to my old speaker system, a... Creative Labs FPS1000. Well I can safely say, although the price of this labtec is a little less than double the creative, its about 8 times better. The subwoofer is built well, its heavy, in a strong wooden case to eliminate distortion. The base is extremely powerful. The only problem it suffers is that at some volumes, it tends to overpower the satellites. But this can be fixed by adjusting the level of the base. The Satellites are very lightweight, sometimes, i wonder if they are too lightweight. But anyway, they sound great, very clear. There is a power button, volume control and headphone jack on the satellite, very convenient. There is only one slight problem with this system, it comes with a flimsy manual. But, that isn't too much of a problem because it is very easy to set up. Thats why I give it 5/5 Stars.
