Summary: Absolutely amazing!!
Review: Buy these speakers now! I will list whats wrong with them. Besides that everything else is perfect. Only 1 input. midrange could be stronger. Bass control is on the subwoofer. Satellites are light and slide around pretty easily. Manual is skimpy(like that matters, they're speakers)and thats it. For [price] these speakers are an incredible deal. They rival the klipsch Promedia 2.1 system and surpass the Altec Lancing Ultra THX certified speakers. Labtec, you've totally outdone yourselves.

Review: Don't overlook these because of the price like i almost did. I was able to hear and compare them to many other sets in a display, even some 5 piece systems, and trust me, these rock! Great for music, plus, wait until you play a shoot-em-up game! You will feel every explosion! GREAT BUY!

Review: For (...) bucks there is simply no way you will do better than this. After reading a review in Maximum PC I decided to give them a try despite hearing many horrible labtec speakers in the past. You cannot spend less than (high price) and come away with a better 3-piece speaker setup than this. Because of the price and great quality, I'm even thinking of buying another set and hooking up a 4.2(4 sats 2 subs) setup... Amazing subwoofer, great satellites, even more amazing price. Buy these now.

Review: Hi, I know a bit about computers and this sound system is excellent. The sound reproduced by the pulse is great, being clear and loud. The speakers do have a tiny bit of static at very high audio ranges though. But the real beauty of this system is the subwoofer! Made with real wood(a plus), it does not sound tinny like other cheap metal made ones. The power of it is truly exceptional. best value, bar none. The only competition it has are the logitech ones and klipsch and the klipsh is about 150 more so its really only against logitech. They're almost identical actually. Pros:
Good sound
high quality (wood) subwoofer with exceptional bass
nice volume
good value, low price
convenient headphone jack on front Cons:
a little distortion at high frequencies and very high volumes
not as loud as some sub-400 dollar systems. Final statement: And please please do not get those cheaply made 50 dollar 5 pc sets. They are [junk]! You can hardly even hear the output even though it has good volume. They aren't near the quality of the 424.

Review: How would you like to wisely spend about 50 dollars on a pc speaker system? Let me steer you in the right direction and point to these Labtec Pulse speakers. The bass is rich and the highs are very good. What makes it even better is that you only spend about ... dollars which is the retail price. Buy it online for less and you got a steal! With that in mind you can't go wrong with buying these speakers.

Review: I bought these quite a while ago, and got em around july 18 2001. I'm just shocked at em, for only (...) bucks i have gotten the best electronic buy EVER!!! Its amazing what these babies can do! i can turn em up so loud. the entire apartment complex is shaking, and none of that staticy crap! my favorite part about em is that the little itsy bitsy sattelites make so much noise. There is only one problem with these satellites, they're too damn light!!! I like to have plenty of slack for my mouse, and they can't hold the cord down lol, so instead i just use the phone book LOL! Well i strongly suggest getting them, because of amount of tones this baby can play, the killer satellites, the looks, and the good price, i would gladly pay $100 for these things. Another cool addition is that if you use a desk for your comp, and have the speakers on it, just put your feet against the desk and you get to feel all the music in your feet =D heh, i love coming home listening to the song No Nagging (its a techno song) with my speakers on full blast, making everything in the house move as though its a lvl 6 earthquake >=) well go get these speakers, right now....

Review: I bought these speakers because I was tired of the pathetic ones that came with my PC. I got them home, uncrated them, and, just to give them a test, plugged them into an old CD Walkman. A month later, they're still hooked up to the Walkman and I'm contemplating another pair for the PC! I was really suprised by the power this system pushes. The documentation is a bit sparse, but I'm led to believe that the whole system produces less than 40 watts. However, the sound is massive, largely in part to the 8" subwoofer which, at times, threatens to overpower the satellites. Not just loud, but clean sound, breaking up very little at top volume. The only complaint I have is that the satellites are a bit bright and a bit weak in the midrange. Mostly I listen to reggae, so antually this sound works well, but I haven't found listening to jazz or classical as fulfilling. Still, you can't beat them and with a cheap Walkman CD player, I now have decent sounds in the bedroom.

Review: I cant beleive what I paid for these speakers,they blow away all the other sets that I've heard(except for Klipsch).The subwoofer has tight DEEP bass,excellent 8" driver.One of the best features is the headphone jack,its right on one of the satellites,I never thought that I would care less about that,but it has become one of the most handiest things(I have a baby,and sometimes need to keep it quiet).Volume is not a problem with these speakers either.One shortfall is the MINOR lack of midrange,which can be fixed with software,but nevertheless should be mentioned.BUY THESE NOW!If your in the market for 2.1 speakers,don't bother hesitating.Get em!
