Rating: Summary: This is a buy! Review: These are the little devils of the speaker world. For someone who is pressed for space or is a newbie in the world of games and mp3s, these are great. they are easy to set up, well built, and take up little table space. the subwoofer is well sized and fits under any desk easily. the satillites are nice (place them in in opposite right-left corners for best sound). if you have the money, I would buy the four speaker set. it's by the same company, looks identical only has four satillites for better surround sound. both sets are great buys, especially for dorm rooms. serious gamers or music makers/mp3 players/trance writers will want the Klipsch ProMedia v.2-400 Speakers. anyone else, BUY THESE!
Rating: Summary: Best Speakers on the Market Review: These speakers are a very good value. Speakers this good by other brands cost $100.00 and up! They work well on portable cd players, walkmans, desktops, laptops, palmtops, and more.
Rating: Summary: for the price and size Review: these speakers are great, great sound from a cheap sound card, full sound and power.
Rating: Summary: Great budget speakers! Review: These speakers provide excellent sound for under $50. A couple years ago, this set was one of the best you could buy and came highly recommended by many of the gaming sites I visited for comparison shopping. I have recently purchased a system that's completely top-notch with a Ghz processor and needed a great set of speakers for a low price. These perform beyond my expectations.I haven't had any problems with radio interferance, but as a few others have reported the problem it's something to keep in mind. Also, the bass isn't the best, but for everyday uses such as watching DVD movies, playing games, and listening to music (which I do for hours daily) these speakers do a fine job. I personally love the sound quality coming from such small speakers, and for this price you won't find anything this good.
Rating: Summary: They are OK, but it there are some complains Review: This speakers seem great at the first impresion. It was impressive to see how big sound could come from such small speakers. Talking about sound, they satellites sound good. The highs are very clear, the middles are good, and the soundstage is great. The bass from the subwoofer is clear and accurate. But, it is underpowered. You can't play at high-normal levels, because the subwoofer begins to jump and distort. You can even hear the annoying sound of air going through it. And if you play it it at loud levels, the sound it's not balanced, and the sattelites begin to sound much louder than the sub, and the highs turn very harsh and unbalanced. The other problem is that connections are old-type and the cables are too long. So, it begins to look bad. The overall construction it's not so good, but it's OK. What seemed strange is that it is made in CHINA! Right, so so quality. Finally I can say that it sounds good when you play at low levels, but you should go for the Microworks that has a bigger sub.
Rating: Summary: Anne Review: We bought this for my son's computer for x-mas. Setup was about five minutes and the sound was amazing. He plays mostly games like IWD and Diablo II and it sounds like a war is going on in this room. Yes the bass is a little muddy at the high end but for $32 bucks no other upgrade will make as big of an impact as these speakers. I'll be buying a pair this week and donating my 70 dollar Yamaha's to a school.
Rating: Summary: The Best Value speakers at this price Review: Well too be honest these speakers are a pure bargain at this price and are probably better than the more expensive products. Creative Labs have a excellent reputation for producing quality products. The subwoofer packs a punch.
Rating: Summary: Read this Before You Buy Review: What everyone says about these speakers is that they are great for the price. I essentially agree with this. The things I found really annoying about this are the following: 1. The volume switch is located between the wire that goes from your computer to your speaker. Your suppose to mount the volume control on your monitor. This design seems very old-fashioned, and it also means you got more wires than you need to running around your desktop. 2. The bass on these speakers is not good- I don't understand what people who think the bass is good are talking about. The subwoofer is mediocre. You can barely hear the bass even at full power, and even if you could its heavily distorted. 3. The sbuwoofer and the satellites don't sync with changes in volume. In other words, if you change the volume on the switch I talked about above, you also have to crouch down and change the volume on your subwoofer otherwise you'll have quiet music, high bass or vice versa. 4. At low volumes, the speakers suffer from radio interference. On my speakers, I hear an AM talk radio station coming out of the satellites and the subwoofer. This is extremely annoying. As I type now, I can hear the radio interference coming out of the subwoofer. I'm not happy about this product. In fact, I want to return it to get some better speakers, but I won't because I need a cheap set of speakers, and these speakers fit that, but you get what you pay for. Also, packing up the speakers again is a hassle that I don't want to have to deal with. I use to have Yamaha speakers that rocked, but right now I'm kind of poor so I settled on these. Make sure you know what you're getting into before you pay.
Rating: Summary: Rock On!!!!! Review: When I first thought about buying these speakers I was a bit skeptical. Then my friend got them and he played DMX - Party Up for me and I thought it was his $3000 home entertainment system in the other room!!!! I was so amazed at the bass output! (I now own them, by the way) I would definitely recomend these! By the way, these are cheaper at buy.com (amazon: you can cut the last line out if you want)
Rating: Summary: Not what I expected -- A Good Thing(tm) Review: When I ordered this set of speakers I was honestly expecting small, tiny sounding, satellites with a puny subwoofer to fill in the treble. I was suprised. Very good sound considering the price. You won't regret it.
