Rating: Summary: Little speakers, BIG sound! Review: I have always wonder how small speakers can deliver Big sound until I received these speakers. For the moderate price, they sure deliver extraordinary sound. They have made my computer sound 100 times better. Highly recommended!
Rating: Summary: Great little speakers for a little price Review: I have had a set of these for about a week and a half and they are great. CDs, DVDs and games (all with strong bass tracks) sound great. The footprint of the speakers in nice and small; but the sound is B I G! The rebate makes this set especially nice.
Rating: Summary: I used to have once, b4 the desktop stereo Review: I have this 3-pieces set, cost me 69.99 b4 rebate, once I set up and play on my CD walkman first, yes! this is a good set for the price, deep, no boomy bass, clear mid and treble, but somehow the mid-high sounds a little bit awful this set is much better than any 3-peices set I had till I got JVC desktop stereo+Sony woofer, then I gave away, and they says this speaker set sounds very good
Rating: Summary: Great sound, great price! Review: I heard this speakers on my friend's computer, and I could believe that they were under a $100. So, I upgraded from a pair of Altec Lansing ACS90's. The yamahas sound 100 times better and the clarity is amazing. This might be the best speakers under $100. I highly recommend these speakers!
Rating: Summary: These Speakers Are Good But... Review: I just bought these speakers within the last week, and I simply can not give this product five stars. I actually bought this speaker system for my brother, and I currently am using an Altec Lansing ACS48 system, which is also sold at Amazon. Obviously, I can not compare a 117 dollar system to 30 dollar system. But I just would like to say that with the rebate, the Yamaha speakers can not be beat. But, you pay for what you get. There is only 30 total watts, therefore the bass sure as heck wont shake your room, but it is adequate. On the other hand, the mid and high range is excellent, considering the size of the satellite speakers. If you want phat BASS, I would not recommend these speakers. I personally love tons of bass, and I found that an 18 watt subwoofer definitely has its limits. Mainly overall, these are great if you refuse to spend more than 100 dollars. But if you have the money, buy a better system and you will understand how much of a difference there is, especially with the low range sounds. If you want lots of bass, go get an altec or any other system with more than 70 watts in total power.
Rating: Summary: STYLE, PERFORMANCE AND GREAT PRICE IN ONE PACKAGE Review: I ordered the Yamaha speaker system on October 21 and received it on October 24. I'm neither a computer or audiophile, but I was able to set up the system in short order and loaded Realplayer 8 and started having some fun.

Rating: Summary: No complaints here! Review: I picked up the Yamaha system on a whim while my husband and I were out shopping. He bought the Cambridge Soundworks FPS2000 digital ($) for his system which, indeed, sounds superb (fantastic bass, handy desktop volume control, desktop & satellite speakers) is also a bit of overkill for what I needed. I just wanted clearer sound in a small space at a good price. This Yamaha system delivers all of that and more. I love the way my MP3s and audio CDs sound through my Yamaha speakers, and it's wonderful to finally have a subwoofer on my system. While others have complained about the absence of bass, I find it perfectly within my desired range... I have my subwoofer set on 5, not the full intensity 10, and it's just the right amount of bass for me. My gaming experience has improved 100% now that I have this system and can actually HEAR what I'm supposed to in games like Unreal Tournament and Baldur's Gate. For the money, I don't think you can beat these speakers. For a high-end system, go for the Soundworks because, yes, it will blow your socks off (and your neighbors, if you aren't careful...)
Rating: Summary: Good things come in small packages Review: I studied long and hard for good speakers. I found that in these speakers. For the price, they're a great buy for quality sound. I'm impressed. I'd recommend them to people are looking for very good sound at a right price!
Rating: Summary: Great set of speaker at great price Review: I used this speaker set for more than half a year now, and it served me great. The sound quality is good (don't expect hi-fi quality sound, of course). The sub-woofer is sounds great, too. At the back it can accept 2 line input, so I can connect my 2 PC to the same box w/o problem. Generally, it is a very good computer speaker.
