Summary: Best Bang for the Bucks
Review: Picked these up a local retail store and they are really NICE. For the price it totally added to the 32" JVC TV we bought...
Cable Music,DVD's and PS2 games are much more dymanic now. We couldn't get past half volume without rattling the windows! This was the perfect fit if you don't wanna drop major ching-ching for a home theater system.

Summary: Best audio bang for the buck
Review: There is little to say about this 2.1 system since once you turned it on, you are instantly awed by its sound. The bass is strong, and the sound is clear and the system looks great.

For $20.00 (shipped) this would be the best audio system you can get for game playing. I have personally gone to Circuit City, Best Buy, ... to test out other 5.1 systems and compare to this one that I currently have at home. Those are nothing. I also tested it against some other 2.1 sytems from Logitech and Bose but this one stands out as the best (especially when you look at the price tag).

Summary: Unbelievable for the price!
Review: These are cool speakers. I bought them for my kids' computer (you will need to purchase a cable to connect these speakers to your computer). Here's the lowdown:
Pros:
*Sound great.
*Inexpensive.
*Funky looking - cool.
*Wired volume control has two headphone ports.
*Comes with cables to connect to TV or video game console.
Cons:
Does not come with a cable to connect to computer - NOT a big deal though (for a couple of bucks you can buy one and connect these speakers to a MP3 player, computer, portable CD, radio etc.)
Very impressed!

Summary: Poor Design
Review: These speakers are selling for twenty at the local computer store, but I can't get over how big and ugly they are. I'll probably end up going with Klipsch because they're a better company and b/c these speakers are so unnecessarily big. Looks like they should be starring in some bad 70's Sci-Fi flick.

Summary: Good Stuff
Review: these speakers r great. i use them on my pc and they sound awesome. I love the wired remote, that feature wouldn't be as good if u were usin them on a tv but since i'm usin them on my pc its an awesome feature. they sound great with all my games and music. The bass is really good too. Get these speakers if u want good quality speakers at a great price.

Summary: Awesome!!
Review: These speakers were delivered less than a week after I ordered them. I am very impressed with the way they sound, the bass is awesome for listening to music and playing games, I hooked them up to my laptop with no problems at all, though you need to have a 1/8" (Standard mini-headphone size for all laptops, cd-players or mp3 players.) cord that goes from the aux., which is located on the subwoofer unit to the headphone plug-in on your laptop. These cables are plentiful at any Radio Shack, Best Buy, or Compusa. You can't beat them for the price, and they also come with a cool remote unit where you can control the volume, eq. settings, bass, and has 2 headphone plugs. Very Very Cool!!

Summary: im not really a kid but these speakers are sweet
Review: This system performs surprisingly excellent in mid-low range, and it is also good at high range.Yes,it is originally designed for xbox. That's why it has such a strong bass. For a audio system cheaper than $30,it goes beyond what I had expected.
Note that the system comes with audio cables. But in order to connect it to computer, you need a Y-shape cable with mini-3.5mm-headphone pin on one end and two RCA pin on the other two.

Summary: Euphoria
Review: Tht Altec Lansing XA3021 was purchased by a friend for me. I had no idea what I was getting. After unpacking and hooking to my laptop, I was absolutely amazed what a $50.00 set of speakers could provide for sound. Way to go.

Summary: Altec Lansing puts some thought into speakers for the masses
Review: WHen you make a purchase, you normally expect a certain level of satisfaction, given your tastes and the price of the item. As for the former, I enjoy a good sounding speaker. I'm Not an audiophile- but when I'm in the sweet spot (and maybe a little off!) I like it to sound clear and vibrant. Something about it just brings a smile to my face. I walked into a Circuit City, gift card in hand. THe card is for $25, from my best friend and his fiancee. I had read about a pair of Altec-Lansing speakers on AOL Broadband Gear (KW:Broadband Gear - not case sensitive) and was going to order but the thought of gettting them even cheaper with my gift card was enough to prompt a "Goodbye" and a head to the store. I was on a mission. Good speakers. Nice purchase. I felt like a beverly hills teenager with daddy's AMEX. First, the Creature's distract me. JBL (I believe) Creatures. Neat edgy styling. The sound coming from speakers about the size of the dial on an Ipod is great. Almost a feat you'd expect from Bose. Silver will match my Dell gear and new Dell Flat Panel (Black and silver), I think. Speaking of Bose, what are these, I say as I approach what I soon learn are BOse computer speakers. A little plain, but stylish for a Bose speaker. The Bass! NO Subwoofer? How do they do it? They continue to innovate and impress me. THen I saw the price...over a hundred bucks for the Creatures and about the same for the Bose. I start doing the math...carry the 7...divide by the Least Common Denomin..plus... probably around 80 bux after the gift card inc tax. Luckily I see a salesman so duck around the corner to finish my brain fart. No..No..NO.. I must find the AL's. Circuit City online says they are in-stock. I should have reserved them online. I finally locate them, all by themselves on a top shelf with the help of a sales guy who seems green to the black and silver sonic stellars but curious nonetheless as he stares at them while I browse around. Either that or he thinks I'm goin to swipe them- I am wearing my baggier pants! Not that kind of person I head to the register and proudly display my card. For the twenty eight dollars I spent I couldnt be happier. Even if I had no discount, they would be worth every cent- and the 28 includes a pack of batteries, too (not for the speakers). Sure the others sounded good, but these look every bit as good - maybe even cooler- and the sound-- the real importance- surely holds its own. They might be a little crisper or clearer or whatever for 100 bucks but I'm happy with a great product that is evident of thought in design and saving money, too. The only thing I've seen that might even come close is a 60 dollar set of Logitech speakers. It'd be close and I havent heard them other than one time in a small store. The color scheme is especially great for Dell owners and X Box fans, too. As for the latter, the phrase more than you'd expect for less than you'd think takes center stage in my mind. Pleasing to the senses- and the cent-ses- they have my recommendation. And they'll have yours too. NOw to find those audio clips in the cd section, I have my wired remote in hand. Happy Shopping!

Summary: More bang for your Buck
Review: While you can certainly go out there and spend a lot of money getting top of the line speakers, you can purchase these cheaper in price speakers and get a quality sound. It is painful listening to videogames on your television, and these speakers will make the sound much better. There are several inputs, that make things much more convenient. Overall, this is the real deal, giving you more bang than your TV can offer you, for your money.
