Rating: Summary: Superb value for money Review: Excellent bass and treble. Midrange seems just a bit lacking sometimes, but for the price I'm not complaining. If you're looking for an inexpensive music system, I strongly recommend these speakers coupled with a cheap $50 portable CD player -- the sound blows away systems costing 4 times as much. And, of course, they're great multimedia speakers too...

Rating: Summary: Amazing sound from little boxes Review: Frankly, I bought this system for my computer at work because it was so cheap and still had a brand name. WOW! Fantastic sound from such little, inexpensive speakers. So good that when I set up the system at home first to make sure it worked, my wife insisted I get her a set for her computer. One caveat: when you get better speakers, you start to notice that the quality of sound on and over the internet (and on your computer, for that matter) is all over the place. I thought I would be able to live on streaming audio, but find that sound quality really varies depending on the source and isn't usually up to CD standards. If you're going to play mostly MP3s from your computer, it will depend on the sampling rate. The CD-quality stuff I've got recorded at home is jaw-droppingly good.

Rating: Summary: Tiny size- unbelievable sound! Review: I got these speakers as gift, and thought I really didn't need them as my PC came with computer speakers. I was so wrong! These blew away my old speakers. They are small, and fit great on my desk, and the subwoofer fits below the desk. For the size, I can not believe the sound, I can even feel the bass coming from them. And best of all, they are incredibly easy to set up, and you can't beat the price. I now give these as gifts I am so happy with mine.
Rating: Summary: small speakers -- excellant quality Review: I had previously bought a pair of multimedia speaks from another company ..., but I had no way to compare until the Cambridge Soundworks arrived -- they are much better -- heavy and well built with volume control -- definetaly buy these as they are a good deal for the quality.
Rating: Summary: good for everyone on your gift list Review: I have owned these speakers for the last few years, and they are more than I paid for. I really like their small size, and good sound. I give these as gifts to friends, my neices and nephews. Perfect for anyone who ever listens to music on their computer. Also good for plugging into a TV, and a walkman - for good sound in any room. I am very happy with my purchase.
Rating: Summary: Two Little PC Works that Could! Review: I own two of these little marvels. One (Beige) is connected to my upstairs 27" Panasonic CRT TV, and the other (Black) was hooked up to my Emachines PC, which came with awful OEM speakers. Financial hard times forced me to sell my home theater system (B&W 5.1 speaker system, Pioneer receiver), so I had to do something to keep some semblance of quality sound for my remaining family room setup of 36" Toshiba TV, Toshiba DVD player and Sony VCR. I moved my PC Works from the computer to direct hookup to the TV's speaker outputs (one must use a pin jack/RCA adaptor for this connection). Viola! Amazingly full sound! When playing DVDs such as the newly released 'Bourne Supremacy' The two tiny satellites came through nice and clear, and I got enough low-frequency from the tiny subwoofer that I could feel the floor vibrating! Of course I no longer have rear or center channel capability, but considering the circumstances I am very happy with what I have. I purchased both PC Works sets from Cambridge Soundworks for the incredible price of $24.99 (both were refurbished)! When I can afford it, I plan to upgrade to Cambridge's Soundworks System, which has larger satellites and subwoofer-this can be had refurbished for $49.99. I will then shift the PC Works back to the computer. The moral of this story is: If your financial resources are very limited, the PC Works can make a quantum leap in improving the sound quality of your entertainment for a minuscule investment! The only drawback is some older televisions lack the ability to remotely control volume of the PC Works, so one must get up from the couch to adjust the manual remote (this is not a problem for the newer Panasonic upstairs). This little system has made such an impression on me that I will most likely purchase a Cambridge 5.1 system when I can afford to do so; the quality vs. value of their products is simply the best on the market!
Rating: Summary: Information Review: I would like to know if I could receive it in my house and how much could I pay for it? Sincerely
