Review: Simply Awesome! The clarity is there. The bass is definitely present yet not muddy and rumbly (exceptionally awesome for DVDs). And the price is very reasonable for what you are getting... JBL quality sound, style and design!

Summary: these little speacker are amazing
Review: I love everything about these speakers, from the very convenient bass and treble adjustment knobs to the touch volume control. When you get the package first thing you will notice is that the speakers are smaller than they look in pictures (in my case this was a good thing). The sound from these speakers is clean and crisp.
The little blue leds on the button of the speakers instantly make your desk look twice a cool.
Only downside is that there isn't a 5.1 version of these creatures. (But I've got my fingers crossed)

Summary: these things are SWEET!
Review: I first saw these speakers at [a local store], but the price ($129) was a bit much for my tastes. After looking at the price on Amazon, i figured it was a better value than almost anything else. Well, after 30 minutes out of the box, I'm extremely impressed. The "keyed" plugs for the satilites actually weren't, and the plugs are formed into different shapes, making it almost impossible to set them up wrong. The touch-sensitve volume controls work extremely well, however, it requres a bit of dexterity to press both at one time in order to mute. Other than that, these are practically a steal for their price, and the sound quality is more than 1000 times better than the speakers on my iBook.

Summary: Solid speakers
Review: The bass is surprisingly distinct and clean. Those little treble speakers are really loud for their size. If the quality of an mp3 isn't very high, these speakers will let you know, which is both a good and a bad thing. At 128kbs a song sounds hollow and terrible (but this is more due to the mp3 than the speakers). One small problem is that these speakers, although quality, aren't as loud as other ones in the same price range, so if you really wanted to blast some music from one room to another, you may have some problems. Then again, these are just mid range computer speakers, so one can't expect miracles. $95 from Amazon is about as cheap as you are going to find these (because of free shipping and no tax), but I still think value-wise they could have been about $20 cheaper. Over all, expect to be happy with your purchase.

Summary: tiny and good sound
Review: The main attraction for me was the small size of these speakers in terms of desktop space, but the sound quality is much better than other tiny speakers I've tried.Despite their diminutive size, I haven't had any problems with them falling off my desk or being knocked off by pushing papers around (something that has been an issue with other speakers). There is not a lot of midrange available, but for computer speakers these are fantastic and very "full" sounding. I think they are a little more expensive than they should be, but they are great looking and the volume controls are very nice to operate. The connections for the two satellites are ALMOST standard 1/8" audio plugs, but not quite. They are keyed with a single flat side so that they have to be inserted into the subwoofer/amp at a certain angle to work at all. I don't know why a coaxial cable needs to be keyed, and the directions make no mention of it so your guess is as good as mine!

Summary: Superb Clarity
Review: The creature speakers are just fantastic. Worth every penny. I have never heard such clarity and depth from computer speakers before. MP3's never sounded so good. The volume control is very cool as it senses your finger touching a metal contact. Press both metal contacts at the same time to mute. Nice touch. The small size goes well with a lcd monitor if you are going for maximum desktop space.

Summary: Good until...
Review: These speakers sounded great and were the best deal in the world. Then after a month of use at pretty low volume the bass on the subwoofer suddenly screwed up. It's always on the maximum level now unless I push down hard on the bass knob. The minute I take my hand away I suddenly have overpowering bass.
Other than that I recommend them. They're a great deal and sound good while they still work. They kind of were tough to set up because they don't work unless you have the plugs to the satellite in perfectly.

Summary: Did not disappoint!
Review: I was entrusted by a friend to get the best speakers available for his computer without breaking the bank. After reading through all the Amazon reviews I felt pretty good but since this wasn't my money I did further research on the net. Unable to find any reason why not to, we went ahead and pulled the trigger. Upon arrival the sound was as expected and more. Extremely clear and alive sound, even at higher volumes. Be warned - suddenly you can detect a distinct difference between MP3 and true digital. Be prepared to shock your guests with the high fidelity. Finally, they just look extremely cool. They are tiny, attractive, and stylish. If you meet the following criteria you should get these speakers. Look no further. 1. Desire for excellent sound quality 2. No need for earth shattering bass 3. No need for surround sound 4. On a budget Buy for the sound, love them for their looks.

Review: This is so far the best speaker I had. Cool designs and Perfect sound. Never regret buying it. Indeed I felt proud and satisfy with it.
