Review: I purchased these speakers for my kitchen. I have a laptop that is often in the room and figured I could make it a stereo to play all of my digital music from.

Overall the speakers provide reasonable sound even at high volume. They are built like little tanks and are quite heavy. They come with generous cables so that you can place them far apart. My biggest gripe is the overly heavy bass sound. I had to adjust the equalizer in Windows Media Player to reduce the bass and accentuate the treble.

If you want "boom box" type sound from your PC or MP3 player without extra bass cabinets these speakers offer a reasonably priced option.
