Adding to this speaker system are the built-in Mega Bass feature and Sigma type magnetic circuitry. You can separate the transmitter and receiver up to 150 feet apart and still expect proper transmission. Sony has provided both an AC adaptor and a Ni-CD battery to keep the wireless speaker system up and running. While the AC adaptor will provide endless power, the rechargeable battery will provide up to 3.5 hours of playtime. To recharge the battery, simply plug in the AC adaptor and charging will commence; you can expect recharging to take approximately twenty hours.
