Rating: Summary: What's that I hear? Review: "Wow!" was the first word that popped into my mind when I tested this out with a few CD's. Not because of the sound quality, but because of what you can hear. It seems as if this thing 'enhances' the parts you don't normally hear. It's kinda odd hearing your favorite song with the background music playing in the same level with what your really supposed to hear. Sorta like a concert experience. This isn't really bad, but you don't really hear what the singer is saying when the background music is in the way. If your into a more 'concert-like' experience, then this is for you. What this really shines though is in video games. After playing Quake with this, I was blown away. All the bombs and explosions are amplified. In Unreal, you can literally hear the people screaming in the distance (if that's what you want to hear, LOL). For movies, it's a mixed bag. I love this with action movies (because it makes the gunfire and explosions all the more convincing), but it's always kinda odd hearing the background sounds while the characters are talking. It all depends on what your into. If you love video games, or want a concert-like experinece, then this is for you.
