Summary: Quality Stereo for a reasonable price
Review: Compared to current surround stereo speakers like the Altec Lansing brands, the quality is quite good.

I experimented by playing Half-Life (which has excellent 3D surround sound), and Planetscape Torment. The sound quality for both was excellent. However, the surround sound quality for Half-Life was patchy. This might've been more to do with my room than the speakers.

The speakers are marginally less useful for playing CDs on. For some reason, the volume for CD playback is slightly lower than for game sound effects.

In summary, if you're looking for surround stereo speakers and can't afford the more expensive Altec Lansing brands, then I definitely reccommend this one. Just remember that surround stereo sounds better in an enclosed room.

Summary: This ain't in stock, I'm reviewing it for the heck of it.
Review: Decent sound for my needs. I usually just play games with these speakers. Music from CD's(not ROMs) is okay but not the best, I usually leave the equalizer on my SBLive(non 5.1) alone, it screws things up as does media player. Another reviewer talked about picking up radio signals, I have the same problem with mine but I think it's my motherboard, I bent it trying to put in my soundcard that could also be the problem. I've had these speakers for nearly 3 years and haven't had a problem with them except for that. I usually turn the sound/bass up pretty high too.

Summary: WOWWWWW
Review: Good things do come in small packages. The satellite speakers may be small, but dont be fooled by that, they are LOUD. The subwoofer adds that perfect bass that you need to go along with any sounds you want. This speaker set coupled with the Soundblaster Live! is just incredible. You can definitely hear the difference. And its true what Creative says: "Sounds so real - it's live!"

Review: I have this system. I have had it for five years now but the wires have gotten loose and have have had to tape the wires to keep the plug in for power. But the sound is still wonderful.

Summary: Good but won't last forever.
Review: I purchased these speakers some time ago for around 100 bucks. They were great and worth every penny. But after a year the subwoofer mysteriously stopped working all togather. The satilite speakers work, which is odd since they have to plug into the subwoofer. It is a shame since I really did like these speakers. And without the subwoofer, you lose alot of the impact these speakers had. I did contact customer service and they pretty much told me that I would have to spend 50 bucks to get a replacement subwoofer. If the subwoofer lasted longer than a year, then it would have gotten 4 stars, I'm not giving it 5 starts because the speakers do seem to pickup radio and CB radio signals. This get kinda annoying. Anyway I just ordered a 100 watts 5.1 sound system. I just hope this sound system lasts longer than 1 year.

Summary: BLEW ME AWAY!
Review: I would just like to say that these speakers kick. I purchased the surround sound after i had an awesome experience with the 3 piece version. (sub, 2 satalites) In stead of using these speakers with my computer, i just plugged them into my boombox's head-phone jack. Since the speakers have their own power supply, they don't lack when you turn it up!. they are infinitely better than the tinny-speakers that came with the mini-system. the bass is outstanding, and the satelites are so small, you can put them anywhere! I truely think that these are the BEST ALL AROUND SPEAKERS FOR THE PRICE! Just go to a cambridge soundworks-they are almost always on display! THESE SPEAKERS ARE WORTH THE $$$! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANY ENTHUSIAST!

Summary: Best all-around speaker system
Review: I've been spoiled by my ideas about hooking up the computer to my stereo system. However these guys have a case for there size and almost as good sound as the stereo system! I compose music and these just work great for that, the bass is not too much that it spoils the song and sound and its not so low that it sounds like your hearing a 1920s radio. A combo of these with a stereo (by plugging these into your stereos headphone jack) works great too. Great speakers, Great Sound, Great Price, and portable too!
